  1. Finally feeling like I found my swing again after today's range session. Hopefully I don't lose it when I play this week...

Damn I feel good right now!

  2. For kicks I pulled out my old CG15 wedges to compare against my Dynacrafts. No comparison at all, Dynacrafts blow the CG15s away

  3. Richard, you message box is full, you need to delete some of your older messages!

  4. Rain again...hopefully will get my Dynacraft review done tomorrow, I think I've come up with a nice scheme for judging forgiveness

  5. WTF just happened?

Thanks for the Jets reminder, that actually made me feel better ;)

  6. Just compared the CMBs to the Pro A12s. Great clubs, but the C Tapers are definitely not for me. Love the KBS Tours

  7. I'm officially done voting. Was a blast. I doubt I'll win but I did what I could. Thanks to everyone who voted for me, hopefully there's a RBZ in your future. Congrats to the winners, can't wait to see the results!

Funny thing wd, your prize incentive might have been the very thing that allowed me to win! I probably would not have been as diligent in voting if not for that! I was pulling for ya just for the creativity of your campaign!

  12. I realized it's been almost a month since I've gone to the range. My progress has been stalling, so I figured what the heck. I was killing it with every club and every shot I took. Man I hope I can bring this to the course tomorrow

  13. Dreaming what I'll do with the grand prize: a really low lofted driver for windy days, 2 and 4 wood, 2 and 3 hybird, 3-4 HL4, 5-PW MP59, 50-55-60 wedges, new putter... I can dream :D

What will be will be guys. No sense to be sleepless over something like this. Three very nice prizes - I'm messed up and I've got 101 words in my entry so I get to sweat that out. And I have over 100 votes in the voting. No big deal - already a winner just by being a part of this community.

  14. Why oh why do I wind up working 18 hour days right before the contest starts? Hopefully I'm not too late

The first part of the contest runs until the 22nd of this month, so anyone still not submitted is in the clear.

  15. Been feeling good about my game recently. Then comes the rain and wind to give me a nice reality check :)

  16. My swing is starting to come around, but my short game is still in the toilet. Need to get to a pitch and putt and refigure out my distances.

    1. R.P. Jacobs II

      R.P. Jacobs II

WD,have ya tried the Tour Tempo 2, the short game/putting book or tones?..Seriously, it really tightened up my pitching/chipping & my putting....The best with it....

I haven't because I have enough to work on right now, but I plan to once I'm more comfortable with my swing changes. My issue right now is 50 yards and in I have no idea what to hit anymore :). I just need to hit a bunch of shots at 7 and 9 o'clock to figure out my distances with my wedges

Really wish I could get out more, but all I get is once a week + range sessions, so progress has been slow...

  17. Still losing every penny I put behind my ball at the range..argh

I could never be a feel player like that. I'm far too analytical, which is great for a software engineer, probably not great for golf though. As I've said before, my rangefinder has become a required staple for me...

    3. RoverRick

      RoverRick

I am a feel player, it is just that I have gained yardage, and not spent time practicing it, my 30 to 50 yards it nowhere near as sharp as I would like. However, I do not need this distance like I used to either. I used to be 40 yards left everytime and not now.

  18. Went to the range to practice some drills my new swing coach taught me. The ground was all dirt, so the slightest "fat" in a swing was extremely noticeable. Can't wait until I get this new swing down!

I just haven't had any free time. I'm in upstate NY now so I'm back to golfing a few times a week and checking these forums

How far upstate? In my neck of the woods? Or Syracuse?

  19. I disappear for a week and it looks like it'll take a good week to catch up on these posts...too bad I'm back on business travel tonight...

  20. YES! My putter finally arrived, I just need to head over to GG to pick it up, hopefully will get out on the course Wednesday to try it out.

  21. Finally got my TM putter 4.5 weeks after I won the auction. Immediately traded it in for my future Nome, now I have to wait another week...

  22. Ugh, life has been so busy, all I've had time for was the range this past week

  23. Bridgestone B330RX balls came in yesterday and look very yellow. Not sure I can get out to play this weekend, but hopefully will report soon how they play and compare them to a few others (ProV1x, 20XI-S, B330, Maxfli Tour)

There are courses that don't allow yellow balls? lol, I hadn't even considered it...

    3. Kanoito

      Kanoito

I think 90% of courses in Germany don't allow yellow balls, since range balls are yellow and they want to avoid accusing you of using range balls LOL

      GolfSpy WD

No yellow balls, no pop tarts, why do you live there again?? ;)

  24. One week until my Bridgestone fitting, two weeks until my club fitting...time can't go fast enough

    1. GolfSpy Tim

      GolfSpy Tim

curious, why do a ball fitting first? I just was fit into new clubs, so now I need to do a new ball fitting

    2. GolfSpy WD

      GolfSpy WD

It's not ideal I agree. The wait for the club fitting at Ace of Clubs was 6 weeks out and I can't tell Bridgestone to reschedule their fittings :). I'll actually get ball recommendations at both fittings and go with whichever ball is recommended after the second fitting. The Bridgestone fitting is as much for the review as anything else
