  1. I’m also the dish soap and hot water crowd. Usually with a rough sponge like a Scrub Daddy. This method has always worked best for me.
  2. Hoping he plays a super solid round and gets it done. I think -13 may be enough. There's probably a 65 out there; just depends who decides to card that round!
  3. Date 06/17/2023 Course Name Pelican Hill - Ocean South Gross Score 86 Course Handicap 13 Gross Strokes over/under par 16 Net Score to Par 3 Net Score 73 Net Birdies or better 4 Longest Drive 291 One of the most visually stunning golf courses I have ever seen, let alone played. If you get the opportunity, DO NOT pass it up. Newport Beach, CA.
  4. North Berwick and Dunbar were both fantastic. Played them May 2022.
  5. As GolfSpy_APH said, I'm usually just looking for a launch in a window I expect, and not much else out of rough range balls. If I get lucky and paly somewhere with a nice range setup, I may care more about distances etc. For me it's just about making decent swings and the initial ball flight.
  6. fabulous trip; fabulous pics! Glad you had a great time!!
  7. Y'all are wise. (Per ALL of the above... )
  8. My first thought was to double check the calendar to make sure it wasn't April 1st...
  9. Date 06/05/2023 Course Name Mistwood Golf Club Gross Score 87 Course Handicap 13 Gross Strokes over/under par 15 Net Score to Par 2 Net Score 74 Net Birdies or better 7 Longest Drive 269 Played better; birdie at the first, almost aced 14, which is decently long (171 over water) fun day!
  10. I've also needed glasses/contacts for 40+ years. I wore contacts for quite a few years, but the dryness in my eyes finally made me switch back to glasses. I could (should?) wear bifocals, but i'm still in single vision and as others have mentioned I don't think I would be comfortable with bifocals while playing golf. Could be wrong; haven't tried it at this point.
  11. Claude didn't leave anyone out, LOLZ. He's not wrong, not by a long stretch. I watched the Chamblee / Faxon "debate" the other night and was astounded that Brandel kept making the same "point" over and over again, as if he said it enough times, Faxon would finally say "Oh; of course you're right". Brandel and Eamon Lynch just love the sound of their own voices.
  12. It arrived, and it's cooler than I thought! Can't decide now whether it should go on my golf bag or my backpack (I'm on the road not as much as @barbajo, but it's getting uncomfortably close...) so I can preach the virtues of MGS!
  13. If I had the body to wear them, (…as Manolo says “Don’t be nasty”) I would rock them all the time. It’s a good look for golf, IMO.
  14. Date 05/18/2023 Course Name Palmira Golf Club Gross Score 96 Course Handicap 10 Gross Strokes over/under par 24 Net Score to Par 14 Net Score 86 Net Birdies or better 2 Longest Drive 254 Struggle bus; but beautiful course, great friends and a lovely day! Can’t complain about a day playing golf!
  15. Date 05/17/2023 Course Name Worthington Country Club Gross Score 92 Course Handicap 10 Gross Strokes over/under par 10 Net Score to Par 0 Net Score 82 Net Birdies or better 3 Longest Drive 267 Super HOT start, then the wheels wobbled. Oh well… fun day all ‘round!
  16. Haven’t been on in a bit. Only slept in my own bed about four days since Apr 24. I hate it when my job gets in the way of my fun. Can’t WAIT to have this on my bag. SUPER cool. Thanks!
  17. Great courses and a great town as well. I’ve only played the Judge there, but WHAT a place. Little bit jealous, not gonna lie.
  18. Date 04/25/2023 Course Name Texas Rangers Golf Club Gross Score 82 Course Handicap 14 Gross Strokes over/under par 10 Net Score to Par -4 Net Score 68 Net Birdies or better 7 Longest Drive 263 First time I’ve ever played here. Interesting course, nice clubhouse. Worth playing if you’re in the DFW Metroplex.
  19. Yeah; that stinks for him. He's fun to watch when he's on form. Hope he can come back from this. Back injuries for golfers are no joke.
  20. Masters Week; LET"S GO!!!!! Cut Line will be +2 - Tiger will be +5 after two unfortunately. Too many delays, too cold & too much of a hike in the weather for his legs.
  21. That's on Stock Island, right? Pretty sure one of my best buddies Scott Baker and his wife Amy play there a good bit. I've gotta get down there and play it!
