  1. @musicalmedicine the heat map and calibration are not available on the iPhone. Flightscope CS said the screen isn’t big enough . Once I switched to the iPad everything showed up and the experience was actually better.
  2. The reason for no returns has zero to do with honest description. It has to do with damage from a shipment being tossed around by shipping companies while trying to travel an unnecessary distance. As I mentioned I’d rather take less and not deal with the hassel but if someone wants to take the chance then fine. I just WILL NOT take the item back because it got slightly damaged(scratch etc but still 100% playable). Obviously completely unusable is different. Then there is custom charges on top of shipping and most international buyers want the item to be listed for less value to save money. If this is discussed, once the shipment is in the shipping companies hands, the transaction is over as I can’t be made whole with insurance at that point if damaged. This doesn’t even mention buyers remorse which happens more than you would think where someone finds the tiniest almost unnoticeable problem.
  3. I have before but it usually comes with a caveat that I’m not accepting any returns and the buyer pays all extra costs over me shipping ups to California. It can be a hassle and not always worth it. Personally I’d rather take a few bucks less and keep it conus.
  4. Can you take some address pictures with a ball and perhaps side by side with your spider? Curious on the blade size heel to toe and front to back
  5. Congrats on the 6 years Jason!
  6. I play music in my cart on the course loud enough for myself and my BIL to hear it no more than 30’ away from the cart. I do this as we both enjoy it and it helps drown out the guys that scream as loud as they can when they make it almost make a 10 footer. IMO that’s a greater problem than music on the course. To those that say absolutely no music, you wouldn’t even know I was listening to music if you were on the course and a different hole than me, so is that ok or does it still ruffle your feathers? lol
  7. Date 06/08/2024 Course Name Hillside Golf course Gross Score 74 Course Handicap 0 Gross Strokes over/under par 2 Net Score to Par 2 Net Score 74 Net Birdies or better Longest Drive Started -2 through 3 then got rain delayed about an hour. Couldn’t find a rhythm after I resumed. Double in the 9th but finished the back with 9 pars. Slope/rating 107/68
  8. Fairway golf USA said the other day they were allotted 350 Tour Athentic TC serial numbered heads. I grabbed an 8.5* head and requested sub 9* and over 58* lie. No tax or shipping for me which was nice. Same price as other stores but will actually know loft and lie. No trade in though.
  9. Me too. Been a blast watching a lot of new faces really get involved here on MGS
  10. Looks like we got some intros up from some newer members. Check them out!
  11. Are you hitting it off the turf? Not judging just asking. I don’t hit driver off the ground as I have never been able to consistently do it. That said I don’t ever have to clean grass or dirt out of any weight tracks in any drivers
  12. I personally think they look good and the weight forward in the GT3 is a welcome sight. Also from pictures it looks like the gt2 has been slightly tweaked and maybe a deeper face than the tsr2. I shared this in our staff conversation but I was hoping for this when I heard rumblings early in the year. GT1- 10k moi GT2- Larger more forgiving GT4 with weights forward and back GT3- weight forward and left to right GT4- small and super low spin weight front and back. This would have been my ideal range
  13. Oh maybe it’s me then cuz I see the play button but there isn’t any video to play 0:00
  14. I definitely blew up. Luckily I left with more than just my 7-iron left though
  15. There are a ton of brands nowadays that can hang. Don’t be afraid to look at DCT brands. Sub70, Stix, and even Vice is now in the club game.
  16. This is a tough topic to provide advice for. It all comes down to you and your budget. Are you getting back into the game to stay or just as a couple times a year hobby. If it’s just a few times a year then any full set will do. If you are planning on playing as much as possible and want to improve I’d look at something with a used set that may hold value should you want to move to something different later on.
  17. Date 06/02/2024 Course Name Hillside Golf Course Gross Score 75 Course Handicap 0 Gross Strokes over/under par 3 Net Score to Par 3 Net Score 75 Net Birdies or better Longest Drive Today could have been so good and I could have been called a sandbagger as I probably belong in the top flight as I have been playing not real great this year. I was -1 going into 18 and piped a drive down the middle. 225 left to the green and wanted a shot at eagle so I grabbed 5 wood and proceeded to pull hook the ball ob. Dropped a ball and thought man now I need to put this on to save par. Nope another pull hook ob. Drop another and just swing hard as I was pissed at myself at hit it to 12 feet. Then 4 putted for a 9er. Ended up +3 on the day. Slope/rating 107/68
  18. As Josh mentioned here it usually stays set for the most part. My setup is as follows I have the spot for the Mevo marked as well as the spot in my mat for the hitting location(just a black dot where the ball sets). After going through all the startup setup settings, I always warm up with my 7-iron. I’ll hit a few to loosen up then go to face impact. Using painters tape as Josh mentioned is a quick easy way to find location. I’ll calibrated it if needed and hit change all shots. I’ll hit a few more to make sure everything’s good then start my range session or sim round. I never change club size as most clubs are fairly close in size but if you had the time and don’t change clubs often or want to compare any, I can’t see how it would hurt.
  19. No it’s usually pretty good after the first calibration but I always check it before starting any range session or sim round. I’ve made it part of the setup routine as I find it does make a big difference.
  20. So while you can see the face impact on your phone, you can not calibrate it from your phone. I was told that the screen is too small so a tablet or computer is needed. You will be surprised how much a little bit off matters
