  1. With the regular mevo you only need Bluetooth to connect to the app. No service needed. I believe for the plus it will be needed to play sim rounds.
  2. For those wondering about fit, the gloves will stretch as you wear them and sweat. Kerry at Red Rooster mentioned that the Velcro should only go about half way on a brand new glove.
  3. That’s when mine is expected to be delivered but unlike you I can’t wait outside as it’s like 8* out there lol
  4. As Jamie mentioned golf ball is big. I have found my best results with low lofted heads as loft affects spin more than anything. I usually have the best luck pairing it with a mid to high launching shaft or lightweight shafts. As for golf balls, last year I played the Chrome Soft X LS ball but switched to the Titleist ProV1X left dash and according to the Mevo and the Full Swing simulator for winter leagues I dropped another 400rpms off my spin with that switch alone. They aren’t cheap but as I don’t lose a ton of balls, they are totally worth it for me.
  5. The dual hosel is exactly as it sounds. It will accept either shaft but the .355t will seat ever so slightly farther in. The collared ferrule may or may not be needed as that has nothing to do with the universal hosel from my experience.
  6. I’ll be giving the Smoke a run this week I hope. Footprint and shaping is hands down the Smoke TD for me with the Darkspeed LS a close 2nd. As for the QI10 the only one that fits my eye at address would be the Max and I’m not sure that’s meant for me with my high spin rates already
  7. Just to add to the thought, Colin Morikawa is playing the QI10 Max driver and he is definitely not a slower swing speed guy.
  8. Also as mentioned pay attention to the amount of space you have. Radar based LM like Mevo require 15’ minimum where camera based have less length required
  9. Sorry I got sidetracked(since you’re a cat person I’ll blame my wife’s cats lol)and didn’t finish my post before hitting submit. Others have already answered. You can also play online sim rounds against others depending on the brand. Currently testing the Mevo plus and can’t wait to play more sim rounds.
  10. Quick thoughts on my testing plans are up on page 1. Fire away with anything specific you want to see tested.
  11. Alright looks like Mevo+ should be here Wednesday. Hoping for the emails sometime by then and I’m set.
  12. Yes you can play sim rounds on the golf course as well as other competitive games depending on the simulator.
  13. I have been on here for a long time and am currently on staff and I am also only 75% done according to my profile.
  14. If I can get the shipping straightened out(I get fingered my zip code and need the seller to change the address), I’ll have a Callaway Paradym AI Smoke TD 8* head Monday. Hoping that and the Mevo+ come in so I can start my sim build and compare the Smoke to the original Paradym.
  15. Nice!!! Still nothing on my end haven’t gotten a shipping notice either. Hopefully soon
  16. I went all out for this test. Bought a portable hitting net for the mevo. Then for the mevo +, I bought a 10x10x10 hitting cage with a screen, 5x10 hitting mat that takes real tees, got a projector from a swell fellow, a computer from work that they were gonna throw out, and a heated shed from my father in law. I figured I wanted to do this right.
  17. I cheated and bought a mat that takes real tees cuz I hate those rubber tees.
  18. You can edit those in the app so you keep your averages right.
  19. That doesn’t help much. Actually seeing how hard you pull on the handle is what’s needed to even have a clue. You may think you swing like you do when your feels may be different than the actual swing.
  20. Without seeing your swing it’s a crap shoot. It’s a load issue. You may swing 117 and most online will say you should be x-stiff and perhaps even tipped. The problem is without seeing your swing we have no clue if you are a heavy loader of the shaft or not. Many different ways to get to that swing speed and you may in fact not be a heavy loader and therefore can get by with stiff or stiff tipped slightly.
  21. Just wait until you add video to all the data. It’s really amazing what such a tiny package can provide.
  22. Got some quick thoughts up on the Mevo. Will probably add a little but wanted to get something up after getting behind the eight ball at work.
  23. My final thoughts on the Mevo will be up tonight or tomorrow. Missing work all last week put me behind big time
