No need to explain yourself one way or another. Just us explaining things why they are as they are. We have members and golfers from all over the world with all sorts of abilities. Forgive us if we are a bit taken back when someone mentions a lottery. I won't go into it. But again see the first post. It should help explain everything about testing you need to know and more. Member testing is a core part of our community and we take it very seriously. As do the companies involved and we hope all the testers as well.

That's the thing you don't have to be a member for a long time or have a lot of posts. We spread opportunities around. @Silver Fawkes was a member for a week or so and was selected, but was very engaged and we felt good about his body of work. Read the first few posts and I lay out everything for you.

100% no. We get these opportunities from OEMs because they trust our selections and our process. Last year we were able to provide over 100k in equipment and this year we will easily clear that. If you want contests that's what IG and Twitter or X are for. Testing opportunities are provided from contributing members who are active and engaged in our community. The ones that will provide valuable in depth reviews we can trust and our community can count on. We may adapt some things but a lottery will never happen.

For sure, if taking part in an opportunity then we should not expect to see your name on the sign up list. We mention this time and time again, but testing is a lot of work and being selective in testing opportunities (by that meaning selective in what a member signs up for) shows us they are really interested in that particular opportunity. Of course if someone has never tested before we more or less expect to see them register for every opportunity as there is the excitement for being a tester or becoming one. You would know if you were selected as you would receive a PM from us and we would be going through the process afterwards. My message is more for those currently taking part in tests - or those who do get selected soon. Finish your current test first, see how that goes then consider putting your name back in.

Just going to say this once here - If you are already testing something don't sign up for more testing opportunities. It looks greedy and selfish. Members will typically only get one opportunity per season. We also will not select someone if they are currently in another testing period. We have a ton of great members and want to spread the opportunities around. Signing up for test after test after test (especially when you have been selected) is something we notice... and not in a good way. Edit: We used to send out messages saying hey, just so you know this looks bad etc. However we aren't doing that any longer. It is up to you all to see and understand it as we lay it out.

I haven't dug into it yet, but wasn't surprised to see the results. Just based off what I have seen from others and a few small tid bits from HQ. Great to see PING on top again and truly a no surprise situation. Stoked to see what may be my favorite driver claim second as the Callaway TD is basically all that I look for in a driver and will be one I look for during my next fitting.

@Josh Parker I've been eyeing up those heads for months but had no use for another set. I'm beyond jealous and can't wait to see how they turn out!

Already built that in (slightly different groupings I believe). Working on a system so everyone who participates will have their own VCT handicap! One day the goal is to make it so anyone would be able to get their own handicap through the VCT, but that is still a ways off.

We have seen this with a few gloves and reached out to them about it. If you send a message they will replace it all issues.

We have a bunch more of these coming and potentially a slight change of format as well. The forum crew is working hard on getting caught up to get these done. Lamkin is next and Mizuno long game will follow shortly after.

Just picked up some brass shims so will be rebuilding the Sub 70 659 TC irons. Going a little different and going the graphite route for these. Not sure how I feel entirely, but thought I would give it a try! Why? Because I can!
