  1. No specific thread. There is a what have you built recently though!
  2. For sure. At first look I thought the ball moved and then actually sat down more for a worse lie. But that's only one angle and who could say.
  3. Only caveat I will make is if I was looking for an upgraded shaft. Yes I would. Main reason is there is a very good feel and good performance with this shaft. The price is equally excellent compared to other high end shafts and the CS is superb. Is it the best shaft out there? Can't say, haven't tried them all. But I have really enjoyed it and while the 6 dot is more than I want it need, the 5 dot has good reaction and stability..the overall performance is very similar to what I had/have with the 6x ad di.
  4. It certainly wasn't a good look (the ball moving and so on). That being said they did look at it so have to have a slight bit of trust in the ruling.
  5. The video is on twitter and it looks pretty bad. I guess they looked at it after and determined that the ball moved, but returned to the original spot so no penalty.
  6. Thank you! DBM was the one I was thinking of. DPD is a shipping company here in Switzerland.
  7. Daily Deal! Playbetter.com Golf Simulator package deals, simulator deals and a whole lot more! GET DEAL HERE!
  8. When you buy the standard package right now you get your premium membership for free and I think a towel? Not many deals going on that I have seen given its price and the value you get for it. I would expect to see deals near the end of the season for it though.
  9. https://stargrip.com/ This was the original company to start grips like Pure. The Pure grip company was started from employees that originated from Star. Unfortunately Pure went under, but Star grips is still alive and strong!
  10. What are you talking about? Literally no posts within this thread or the original have been removed, hidden or marked as spam.
  11. There are arthritis specific grips you can get. I'll try and find them and link them, but they are not super thick like jumbo, but offer a softer cushion and a different texture that helps as well. Outside of that a softer rubber mid size grip would be good. I would avoid corded or firmer feeling grips ... Example try to not use extra wraps as that will trigger stretching the rubber making it thinner and firmer.
  12. Happy Sunday morning all! Quick shift at work then hit the course for some practice and get some new photos for the WITB. Hope everyone has a great day!
  13. First comment I have read this morning and was the perfect way to start the day!
  14. Oh we know Rob! Never had a doubt with you. I was more referencing to many who we don't see anymore. Members who were long time contributors and now have moved on to just tagging me relentlessly in social posts lol Again to each their own! Nothing wrong with that and good on them for getting those prizes. You and so many others know the work it takes for a review. It's not a prize, it is a part time job! I also look at it like this - I got a putter to test (Odyssey) it was valued at $400 so now I need to make sure I provide at least $500 worth of content. That meant a lot of posts and responses and more. If we give someone a $600 driver and they only post 20 times... Do those posts equal $30 per? Maybe, but they better be big thorough posts. This is all of course during testing. I would prefer to see near 60 posts and updates or thoughts during then to make it closer to the $10 range. Pretty sure @GolfSpy_KFT made 500 posts in the Cobra thread for his full bag. It's not necessarily how we look at it, but it's something to consider.
  15. I wonder what my next project should be... Maybe rebuild the 659 TC...
  16. What type of golfer are you in terms of spin? High, low, mid? I'm a high spin player especially with irons so I usually look to for low spin balls. However I play with plenty that need more spin. Check out the new Callaway Chrome Tour X and new TP5 or Maxfli Tour series. All are new and could be your answer. Bridgestone would be the other that's a near must check out as they are know for providing spin!
  17. PVD finishes normally don't have a long long lasting finish. It is usually the DPD (I think that is what it is called) that is more ingrained in the metal vs a cover. Unfortunately no matter what all finishes fade to some extent. Cleaning and being absolutely picky about it all will help it last longer.
  18. Classifieds are back up and running. Community Map may or may not be coming back. That is more a TBD thing. Apologies to all for the delay with the Classifieds. Was a journey to say the least, but happy it is back up and running!
  19. Haven't actually purchased much so far this season. However that is about to change and have a few things on order which I am excited about. Net is being put back up tomorrow for the new house and hopefully going to start some new testing! Will be sharing a little bit soon enough!
  20. Look at the Maxfli Tour series. Great balls at a far better price.
  21. @Jim Shaw taking a quick step back. Try not to think about the hard core golfer or golfers involved on the forum. Think about the casual fan (kinda like your niece and nephew). Why would they have reason to tune in and watch golf if a lot of who are considered the big names or best in golf are split? DJ and Bryson are huge names and they have to be watched on the CW or app in a shotgun start so the overall story of what is happening is far more difficult to tell or follow. Not to mention commercial loads for both LIV and PGA Tour are brutal at best. Heading over the PGA Tour they often switch between this app, platform, channel or something else. Then while we still get great new stories from unknown names, they are not what draw sponsors or larger views because it is the big names with the big sponsor money that draw more attention. Who would most rather watch number 155 in the world or an known name and commodity? Even looking at the winners this year on the PGA Tour while good stories, not big names. The hardcore fans are going to watch no matter what, its why they get that name. The casual fan however has more reasons to turn it off than to make a reason to watch.
  22. All of this... Hackmotion has one as well. However in testing it has been a bit hit and miss. There were some recent updates which apparently has helped make some improvements so I will see what has happened there.
