Finally put together a solid all around round yesterday morning. Played the first 12 holes at even par with 3 birdies and 3 bogies which were all on the silly side. Then had a few just loose shots and some iffy putts and got around to a 75. My best score here at Lost Creek and was awesome to see the arccos system working well. After that went to a course for a tournament practice round and shot a 85 which all things considered I was happy with..greens were incredibly quick and small so it was a decent round and I learned what I needed to going into the weekend Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Its an amazing spot out here. I grew up in Vernon and Vancouver and moved out here about 10 years ago. Can't see myself moving back, but definitely send me a message if you're out this way and I can give you some solid recommendations. PEI is also an amazing spot to check out. So turning 30 in a couple days here and my wife for the big 30 (I know young for many) planned a golf weekend for us. It had been in the works for many months and was suppose to be a suprose, but one of the courses sent me the tee time about a month back. Suprise was ruined, but when I told her she spilled the beans on the whole weekend. Golf at Northumberland Link Nova Scotia yesterday. Weather was not good, but she was a real trooper in the wind and rain and we made it through. Fantastic course and can't wait to go back during a nice day. Stayed last night at Fox Harb'r resort which is fancy as all get out in a massive suit over looking the course and the ocean. Had a great pub style dinner with a few pints and now as the sun is coming out we are getting ready for round two at fox Harb'r. Course looks immaculate and can't wait to get out there. For all of us golfers if you are ever in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia you owe it to yourself to come here. The round will still be stupid windy (50km gusts) and cold (7) but we will have a great time and finally to end it off. My new Arccos 360 worked to perfection on the first round and I now have stupid amounts of data to run through really can't be happier and have to give my wife a big shout out for the whole weekend and being such a trooper yesterday and likely today. For the first time this year my putter/putting let me down. Had a great round striking the ball well hitting fairways and greens in reg but alas the putter wasn't having it and what I gain in other areas of my game I lost on the green. Well as I wait for the rain to pass I figured why not throw in a quick update. Had a lesson a few days ago and wow has it paid off. Simple changes that are easy to do and haven't disrupted my game entirely which is nice. Last two rounds at my home course both 81 (still yet to crack 80 this season, but it's close) the biggest thing is my driver is coming around and starting to have more confidenc. Second though are mubirons. With the few simple changes I'm striking the ball much much better and getting a extra 5-7 yards out of each club. Been an adjustment and have been long on a few par 3's but that's a fairly easy adjustment. Played a brand new course to me today with a friend. Two completely different 9's in terms of the course and play. Front 9 was more open and played well with hitting good tee shots and making putts. Back 9 was a lot tougher and tighter and must have got a bit on the tired side because tee shots got a little wayward and it cost me. That being said given another go at the course I think it would be able to shave some strokes off. Greens were great course was fun and hopefully put a low score down! Small rant, but needs to get out. The courses on the area are wet. We have had lots of rain and most of them are having a tough time draining in time before the next rainfall. Fair enough and I'm too eager to not go out and play. I don't mind the ball not rolling out or it being a bit spongy under foot, but when a good shot either tee shot or approach plugs to the point where we the ball disappears it's hard. I lost 3 golf balls today all on good enough shots maybe a little left but still in very playable areas but with the ground being so wet they were nowhere to be seen! Thankfully not using amazing golf balls yet, but still frustrating to loose a golf ball on a decent shot. Thankfully it's slowly drying out so hopefully won't be a issue for much longer. What's the one club that you want to try or play that you can't because it's only available in RH? For me it's the Cobra Utility iron. Either the new one or old one. Played one of my more regular courses with my father in law today... The windiest day I've ever played on! Had fun and although didn't go low on the scorecard but definitely was a new experience. Was really happy with wedge play and irons, but am still wildly inconsistent off the tee and slowly starting to get a better feel for the new putter which was just put in the bag.
