Hello, everyone. I’m Howard in Kennesaw, Ga which is about 30 miles NW of Atlanta up I75. I appreciate MGS giving me the opportunity me the opportunity to test out the Claw gloves in the heat and humidity in Atlanta. At 7:00am today it is 75 degrees and 70 percent humidity on the way to 95 degrees. I’ll be playing tomorrow with a high around 98. I am retired after 40 yrs in operations management in private and public roles. I have been playing golf for about 54 yrs and have had and index as low as 6 but now about 15 after three hip replacements in the last 10 years. You pick up some bad habits playing in pain! I play at least once a week with a group of friends from Georgia Tech (THWg!) I’ve known for over 40 years. As for gloves, I have played with so many over the years. Leather, synthetic, the bionic glove!, you name it. Usually the common thread is “on sale”. I use until they wear out and never take off during the round unless they get so slick from moisture I can’t hold the club and have to get a new one out. It appears these Claw gloves will arrive today or tomorrow and I am looking forward to unboxing these things. Silicone on the palms? Mesh on the back? Toss in the washing machine? All that sounds very different so it will be interesting to see if they really hold up to multiple washings and if they keep your hand cooler. Watch for updates when the testing gets into full swing, this will be fun!

I have set pitching and gap wedges and add a 56 and 60. I had a set sand wedge (56) but didn’t like the bounce so set it aside early.

I will grip down on a club to knock a couple yards off and want to keep flight down

10, I wanted to play with older brothers so Dad made me hit wiffle balls at specific targets until I could go to a par 3 course. 2 pars during that first round and I was hooked.

I just use a blue sharpie to fill a dimple to the right, slightly above, the manufacturer name on both sides. Simple mark but easy to spot.

I can afford once a week, twice now and then, but have lots of things to do around the house knowing that in the next couple years we will move and we have way too much stuff.

I just post scores for handicap but mentally track some things on the card like pars, birdies, doubles, 3 putts, bunkers, par 3 hit, to recap round. Then kick myself and throw it away!

I don’t recall seeing any notification, but a dozen showed up in the mail today….

I had dumped my 3 wood and was carrying an older Cobra 2h , then I stumbled onto a Callaway Rouge HL 3 that I can put out there. Feels great.

I I like the Adidas 360Boost line but after three hip replacements I lean to spikes if a course is wet at all. Spikeless is fine if dry, but my home course has a drainage issue so spikes the majority of the time

I just put super stroke mid swing grips on my hybrids and jumbos on my driver. Live the feel. Will probably move to them from mid wraps next time around.
