Just read through this thread. Really enjoyed it! For me, I'm not very creative. Live in PA and like to golf...and it's 2017. Thinking about finding a place for a true driver fitting. I like tinkering but would love to go through a true fitting. I've been "fit" before, but only at big box stores and on a range with no monitor. May have to look for some places that are a little bit of a drive, but figured long term it'd be worth it. I'll grab a ball or poker chip.! I have a display case with all the logo balls from places I've played but that's about it. I have the Tour Black Itsy Bitsy and love it. At first, with the stock Winn grip I wasn't a fan of it. Installed a Pistol 1.0 with the counterweight and absolutely love it. Main reason I got mine is because I always loved the Spider shape but was never a fan of the white. Also love the fact that there's no site line. I normally focus on a spot a few inches in front of the ball, and I've found that I think a lot less about whether I'm set up right or aimed correctly. Found Odyssey O Works 7 Tank on eBay for a good price and it showed up at my door last week. Love the feel of the Tank 7. So stable.

Played Torrey North when on vacation. Great layout but thick rough. Also Penobscot Valley Golf Course in Maine gave me fits. Open layout and hit the ball well but couldn't get the ball to stay on the green.... Also there's a stretch of three holes on a course near my house that I always lose a ball ob...no matter what club I hit or how much I try to avoid it...definitely mental but it gets me every time... I had the 35in Counterbalanced Versa version and I regret getting rid of it. The weight just feels perfect and I love the shape of the 7.

When I had a membership at my local course, I'd often go out early and walk as a single. I have a Puma Soundchuck and would strap it to my bag and play music as I walk. I've tried wireless earbuds, but never liked golfing with them in. I was always mindful of any groups around, and would turn it down or pause it when I would get close to others. When I'm playing in a group, I often will leave the speakers in the bag unless everyone else wants to listen, but again, I don't think there's any place for playing it so loud others can hear.

Track my handicap online and ended last season around a 16.9, though I don't get out nearly as much as I did pre-kids, but the goal is to get down to single digits at some point...lots of chipping and putting practice!
