Played nine holes with the Rogue subzero today and WOW I have to get one. I play the Titleist 917 D3 and the sub-zero outperforms it right across the board. Tomorrow I will indeed buy the club I said I would not buy!!

Golf gloves we all use them (well nearly all of us) Gloves aren't a glamour item or something that creates great interest Yet to most of us they are really essential part of the game. I have found some gloves have a better fit for my hand than others and that some have more supple leather. Some seem to wear out much quicker than others. I have found that the new Footjoy FLX fit my hand really well but don't seem to last. The Under Armour tour strikeskin seems to be much harder wearing for me and seems to last quite a while. I would be interested to read about your findings with the gloves you wear. Cheers Divothead

I have the original Game Golf and all the numbers on the tags have worn off.I changed clubs and mixed them up so now it sits unused in a drawer. What a plonker I am. Is there a quick way of finding out which tags are which number?

I had the MD3 before the Mcdaddy forged and if I`m truly honest I only changed from the MD3 to the forged for 2 reasons none of them reasons were that the performance of the MD3 lacked in any shape or form they are truly awesome. The first reason I changed was that I wanted that forged feel. (After owning them there is not much feel difference, to be honest) And the second reason is that I`m a compulsive spender and have no control over my self...I try to buy happiness..........I will never learn!! Yes, I will report back on the new S18 wedges but I doubt they are any different to the Mcdaddys other than looking good in the bag and matching my Mizuno set. I cannot be more honest than that.

I've just ordered custom built mizuno S18 wedges .5 inch short KBS hi rev stiff shafts electric blue lamkin utx grips the chrome finish in 50/54 And if I gel with them I will order them same spec in 58 in black colour to help reduce the glare...I play the new mcdaddy forged at the moment so these S18 wedges have a lot to live up too when they arrive.

Here is my rant So we all know that guy. who I just can't be arsed typing about Yeah that's him.

Today I played my quarter finals presidents cup match play. I found my self three holes down on the 6th tee yet I had only hit one bad shot..... My opposition was on fire. He played solid from tee to green and knock in two birdies. On the 6th tee par 3 into a strong head wind he missed the green and I hit mine pin high and tapped it in for birdie . I sort of gained momentum from here and pulled it back to all square by the ninth hole. This was showing signs of a great match! On the 10th tee, I hit a missile drive leaving me a 4 iron in again the head wind was strong and the course saturated from the heavy rains. The 4 iron was an absolute peach 10 foot ft right of pin .... I lipped out for the birdie and took par which sent me one up. I kept the momentum and was 3 up stood on the 14th tee I hit a steady drive leaving me 200 yards into the bloody wind again!! I nailed my 3 hybrid caught a flyer and it sailed 220 yards he pulled one back!! I lost the next hole and I was one up it was unbelievable really as I hit it through the back of the par five in two and my chip just checked up to quick leaving me with a 15 ft putt it lipped out..... he got his birdie. Now I was one up and the negative thought popped in my mind walking to the 16th tee I realised this and told my self I was still 1 up and in control. I went on to win the next two holes taking the win on the 17th and on to the SEMI FINALS......wish me luck GOLF SPIES!!!
