  1. League night tonight. Nothing super special, but I did save a par by dropping a 16ft putt. Downhill slight left to right. I feel like my new grip style has helped in just two weeks. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  2. This is fantastic! Great find.
  3. I am just happy that we have consistently seen the sun here in MI for most of the last two weeks. That beautiful ball of fire just brightens my mood so much. It's kind of crazy. Oh, and the Cavs are in the NBA Finals. Again! (Yes, I'm a Cleveland sports fan. Was born and raised in Akron, OH. Only moved to MI 3 years ago) Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. Arcadia Bluffs is a blast! A great challenge for every level of golfer. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. Nicely done, Rev! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. This was from my round yesterday. 495 par 5. Ok drive, 268 downhill left to the hole. Smoked a 3 wood to just short left of the green, approx 35 yds to the pin. Hit the best pitch of my life to 2 inches from the cup. Tapped in for the birdie and ran away before someone thought I was actually a good golfer. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. Congratulations! That is a great testament to your hard work. Enjoy the feeling and let that carry you through the not so great times on the course. Let us know when you do it again! Can't wait to see you trending true correct way. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. With everything that is available today with technology in the putter as well as for putter fitting, you would be doing your game a disservice to not explore everything possible. Marrying the data results with your “feel” matters to helping get the most out of your game. I have no idea if the new technology makes more of a difference or not, but I can't close myself off to the possibility that it can help my game. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. Been lots of Miller Lite today on the lake at the in-laws. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. Congrats, Caps. Good luck against Vegas. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  11. Advice givers are the absolute best. Especially when their game doesn't match their mouth. I really enjoy using the earbuds with nothing playing routine to try and avoid unwanted advice. I have only really experienced the range troll once and it was when I was much younger and didn't know how to walk away or tell someone to politely SSHH. Made me never return to that range. The other place that unwanted advice givers seem to gather is the gym. My goodness, the number of “trainers” seems to be at an all time high lately. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  13. I love the title and know nothing else of the book. If I can keep reminding myself of that, I'm sure it will make the rounds much more enjoyable. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  14. Elijah Craig tonight after catching up on yard work. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  16. Enjoy the well earned break in the action. Best of luck dealing with the not so fun aspects of serving in the ministry. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  17. So true. Possibly a way to make this happen is have 27 hole courses. 18 “regular” holes and a 9 hole par 3 attached. Could help with the profitability factor as well as having a place that appeals to multiple skill levels like a ski resort does with multiple difficulty levels. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  18. Like many have mentioned, I learned to play on a par 3 course as well. It was a blast to trot around there with my 5 club bag and be taught all the things this game has to offer. I'm going to borrow an analogy from another thread regarding choosing the correct tees to play from. A par 3 course is like the bunny hill in skiing; a perfect place to teach or reinforce the basics. 19. The family and I finished off the week of vacation playing The Currituck Club. On #9, I was able to hit my 3 wood dead center of the fairway 220yds. Left 102 to the pin. The rest of the hole was forgettable. But that drive was fun to watch fly. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  20. Sounds like a good evening is about to happen. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  25. Par 3, 124 yards. Hit a 52 degree wedge with my draw perfectly for the first (and only) time of the day to 15ft away and then made the birdie putt. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
