  1. League night tonight. I dropped a 25ft putt. Slightly downhill with a little left to right. It was to save a 7 [emoji1361] Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  4. You folks have inspired me to get back after it. Thank you. I have been a perfect example of the yo-yo dieter for the last 5-7years. I fluctuate between 240-210 depending on how serious I am about watching what I eat and having daily activity in my life. After reading through the thread, you have been a good kick in the rear to get back at it and work to find a way to make this sustainable. I've started this week by packing my lunch and making dinner at home as well as taking the dog on a 45 minute walk. Here's hoping I can keep using the support and motivation of fellow spy's I can make this the time my journey becomes permanent. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  7. Will do. I think my U.P. golf this year is going to be at Drummond Island with the wife and in-laws. I'll see what I can make happen later in the year. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. It's the way that the entire world is moving. The more information there is to gather, the more complicated everything seems. The great part about MGS is you can be yourself and make your enjoyment level whatever you want it to be. There are plenty of topics to either dive into the rabbit hole or just talk about how beautiful the course was. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  10. Yesterday was working on target practice with punch shots. Then played some putting games trying to create pressure to make the putt and be able to deal with the “nerves” of making a putt Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  12. This is not in any particular order, and I highly suspect that only 1-2 of these will ever get checked off the list: 1. St. Andrew's 2. Pacific Dunes 3. Streamsong (Red) 4. Pinehurst #2 5. Pebble Beach 6. Muirfield Village 7. Ocean Course (Kiawah) 8. Sand Valley 9. Forest Dunes - The Loop 10. Greywalls
  13. This is a fantastic list, and I am stealing this for myself. Being new to the area, I am always looking for ideas of where to play. I was able to play Arcadia Bluffs last fall, and I cannot recommend that course highly enough. I hope you're able to start checking these off the bucket list this year.

  17. Back to our regularly scheduled program... Since we were discussing players that converted to the dark side and are successful, I was thinking that the a truly ambidextrous golfer would be intriguing. Of the 14 clubs in their bag, which would be right handed and which would be left handed. Would they play right handed on Thursday due to course set up and then switch to purely left pending the setups the following days? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  25. Finding a lefty instructor would be like finding a needle in a haystack. And I agree, tony@cic, they could probably get away with charging extra. I did have a good experience with my first ever lesson, because he would set up and just have me mirror his form etc. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
