  1. Congratulations on the great round and personal best! I'm happy to hear that.
  2. I agree, I would much rather see sponsors logos than what they're putting out. I know they're probably contractually obligated to wear their team logos and some players might not be sponsored.
  3. 1. Rory's confidence looks shaken out there even though he's playing the round at even par. I know he's been working on swing changes and I think that might be getting into his head. 2. I would love to see Max come out of here with a win, I like Scottie but it would be great to see Homa get a major 3. Did anyone else think Hatton was wearing a Thundercats hat?
  4. Now that would have been the winning combo to me as the technology they both provide are fascinating to me. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to see the Callaway test and know it's importance to bringing new eyes to the forum, but I'm more intrigued by these.
  5. Good morning everyone! I want to start out by saying thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes, encouragement, and advice. The positivity and overall caring environment of this thread and forum is what makes us such a great community. @Erin B, I apologize for not communicating with you yesterday but I'm really happy to see they are getting the ball rolling on taking care of your wife and hope the imaging gives them an idea of where to start with treatment for her. I wish her nothing but the best. I'm doing good this morning, I'm sitting here with two dogs and a cat who are doing their best to let me know I'm loved. My BP is only slightly high this morning at not near the level it was yesterday. I just hope the vertigo doesn't come back, it scared me being on line at work and nearly falling down. I'm just glad I wasn't driving at the time. Let's get on to the positive stuff, it's day 3 at the Masters and we've had several phenomenal testing opportunities drop on the forum this year. Personally @GolfSpy_APH, I'll go option 1 simply because I'm more intrigued by L.A.B. than anything else. I think Auto flex is super cool and I'm glad to see they put out a testing opportunity. I want to know what Jason Day is going to wear today, is it the parachute pants? Or will he wear another sweater that's uglier than something your grandma made you for Christmas? I hope whatever the day brings each and every one of you will be wonderful.
  6. I appreciate the advice! It was spending some time there today but it's actually back down around 92 after getting home and relaxing. I'm just hoping I can get in to see my doctor on Monday and get a solid plan together to get this under control.
  7. It's looking better right now, it's still a bit high but lower than it was at the ER. I thought of posting a photo I took while I was waiting but thought better of it. The wife and I are planning on incorporating some exercise along with the eating habits we're working on.
  8. The ER doctor has some tests ran on me and said the HBP had not caused and problems that would show I was at a high risk of stroke and wants me to see my primary care doctor about getting on meds. He did prescribe medicine for the vertigo and I'll have to get in that. It was scary, I haven't had a room spin on me like that in a long time. Thanks everyone for the well wishes, I appreciate all of you.
  9. It was a pretty good day today until I had a bout with vertigo at work where the world started spinning. Now I'm at the emergency room after the urgent care doctor said I have impressively high blood pressure. Good times!
  10. Good morning everyone and happy Friday! I'm glad the work week is almost over since it's Masters weekend and my job just doesn't understand I would rather be watching it all day as opposed to working. They don't understand priorities. I had a great time on the call yesterday and can't wait for the next one. @cksurfdude I'm glad you got your thermostat issue rectified, Chuck. I hope you all have a good start to your weekend and that it's filled with golf whether your playing or watching it.
  11. You're showing an aptitude in biology, that's smart! No breathing, no golf.
  12. It was another great call today, it's always fun and informative to get to talk to Y'all.
  13. I have two on two different courses. The first in on my home golf course, Flagstone Golf Course and it's the 10th hole. The hole itself isn't very intimidating, it's a 350 yard par 4 and is very reachable in two for me. The kicker is the tee shot, you have a line of trees on the left hand side that are covering a creek. I've lost many balls due to my miss being a pull hook. I have parred it twice recently, once from the forward tees (I was playing from there so I could actually possibly get a par to build a positive memory), and last time I played there from the green tees. The other one is the 5th hole at Indian Trace. Again, it's an easy hole, a short par 3 that's protected by a pond and a tree on the right. I just cannot get the ball over the water because I either top or shank it.
  14. Good morning everyone! It's the first day of the Masters and I'm looking forward to seeing how things go with it today. It's also community call day and I can't wait to get on the zoom call with all of you. I hope y'all have a great day!
  15. That was hilarious! The comment about Rory's parents wanting to see the sun disappear was gold, but to mention all the comments about Reed.
  16. @Northern Monkey, thanks for the videos! I was curious how the Runner sounded and it gave me a good Idea. Honestly, I was expecting it to be a bit clickier than what I heard in the video and it doesn't seem like it is offensive sounding as I was thinking it might be.
  17. I would probably play and live stream the tournament on the app. I love the Masters, but I love being able to get out and play more.
  18. You did a great job on these and I love the choices you made in which shafts, ferrules, and grips you chose.
  19. Good morning everyone! It's a dreary, rainy morning here in TN, but I'm enjoying my coffee before heading in to work. I'm just happy it's hump day and the weekend is just around the corner. @russtopherbI'm just glad to hear that losing oil like that you didn't blow your engine. I had an issue similar to that happen over 10 years ago and my engine was toast. I couldn't afford to get out fixed at the time as I was trying to but a house and couldn't risk taking a loan out to get it fixed. Fortunately, I work for an automotive company and they offer leases. I'm looking forward to tomorrow with the community call and the start of the Masters. I won't get to watch any of it until Saturday, but at least I can keep up with all the action. I hope y'all have a great day!
  20. Great round and congratulations on the PB! Congratulations on getting your first (of many) birdie of the season! It's still early in the season and the short game is one of the hardest things to get back and I believe you will. I feel your pain on having a short game disaster, that's been plaguing my game lately. There's nothing worse than the feeling you get after blading one over the green. It looks like you had some beautiful weather to be out in and I'm glad you got to play.
  21. @russtopherb I'm glad you made it off the side of the interstate safely. I was nervous just reading about your adventure in trying to keep your car from getting hit. Hopefully they'll have it fixed soon.
  22. This look amazing and those ferrules are Good job!
  23. I hate to hear that your wife is going through this and I hope she gets to feeling better soon.
