  1. @GolfSpy_KFT I'm glad to hear you were able to get out and play, it sounds like you had a good start to your golf season. The Ghost Golf bag looks good on the cart, that white just pops! @Michael.Sandoval33 congratulations on breaking 100 for the second time! I'm happy to see the improvement in your game, keep it up! @Javs congratulations on breaking the course record!
  2. Good morning everyone! @jbern @Josh Parker thanks for the photos of the eclipse, those all look phenomenal! It's looking like it's going to be a bit of a rainy day here later on. Right now it's still dry so I'm enjoying a cup of coffee before heading in to work. I talked to my sister last night and she's holding up pretty good. She's still a bit sore, but she is keeping in good spirits. She says she's seen the path report and read of some things to me and it sounds positive. She'll find out for sure Thursday. I hope you all have a great Tuesday!
  3. This is getting exciting! I can't wait to see the finished product as I love those heads.
  4. I'm surprised the Groove-It fell off the magnet. I've had mine come off in the trunk after getting trapped by something, but never fall off.
  5. I've been referring to it as the Apoceclipse as I work with a couple of conspiracy people and I happen to like really bad puns. I'm glad the first day at the new job went well for you Bryan. @Kenny B I'm starting today taking care of the A1C, right now I'm working on cutting down on carbs and planning on starting to add some exercise to my routine. I'm having to wean myself off the sugar I like in my coffee and get it down to a more reasonable level. Hopefully I'll have dropped some weight by the time we meet in Virginia. Like everyone else, I'm excited for the Masters this weekend, I really don't have a horse in the race as to who I would want to win. I think it'd be cool for Rory to get the career slam but I'm just not confident he can pull it off. Really, I'd like to see Fleetwood win it.
  6. It's crazy to think about, it honestly doesn't feel like it was that long ago. It was an amazing opportunity and one I'll be forever grateful for. We had some wonderful competitors and I'm thankful for the friendships I made because of this. The clubs are still performing great, I have all but one still in the bag. The hybrids I could still wax poetic about and the Forged Tec X irons have performed extremely well for someone of my skill level.
  7. Good morning everyone! Happy eclipse day! I'll be observing the event from a windowless factory while under the fluorescent (albeit energy efficient) lighting. It's not a full one where I'm at in TN and I did get to view the last full one in person, which was cool. It's a back to work Monday and it'll be nice to not be feeling under the weather. It's the start of a new eating plan at work day, my A1C was a little high at my checkup and I'm going to try to eat better. I hope you all have a wonderful start to the week!
  8. I used to be pretty bad about that when I was younger, I grew up in a house with my grandmother plus worked in a print shop so I had a habit of yelling. Now I mumble... It'll be a blast getting to meet her, I bet she's a hoot. @Josh Parker that's just plain terrible management and a sorry excuse for a green. Almost makes me sick. It honestly looks like they just dug holes and threw driving range mats in them .
  9. I do love the look of the variable milling on the face.
  10. Getting those lag putts close is impressive! It seems like you have some pretty good distance control with the Runner. Did you happen to notice if you had a bias on which direction you were off?
  11. I really love that phrase and thank you for posting that, it's been rough lately and it's always good to have a little reminder. I died laughing at this! It's a lot easier for me to post in a setting where I can actually think about what I'm saying before opening my mouth. I tend to occasionally stutter because my brain sometimes out runs my mouth and gibberish comes out. I'm not horrible about it, but sometimes become a little self conscious.
  12. Great round Randy! I'm glad to see all the work you put in paying off.
  13. Winds like that are scary! I hope you haven't had any damage done around you or to your house. I hate hearing your having stomach issues and hope you get to feeling better.
  14. @cksurfdude I'm pretty talkative in a forum setting where I can think of my responses and type them out I am pretty quiet in real life, I live a relatively boring life and just don't have much to talk about unless it's golf. @Kenny B you were one of the first Members to take me in and for that I'm grateful. It's been a pleasure to get to know you here and I'm looking forward to actually meeting you. I've been wanting to for years. I think we'll have some fun at Kingsmill. @fixyurdivot I hope you can find some flies that are effective for Pike, that sounds exciting! I couldn't imagine going after them with anything less than a baitcaster and a steel leader. @Dead Solid Bogey I'm just the l thankful the female supervisory authority occasionally has some sympathy. I think she might have given me freedom because it's grocery day and I carry the heavy stuff.
  15. Hopefully the rain will hold off and you can get a full 18 in.
  16. Good morning everyone! It's another chilly morning here with the temp currently sitting at 34. It's supposed to be warming up today with a high in the 70's. A buddy of mine texted me last night and told me he was coming up to play my course today and I can't wait to hear what he thinks of it. I'm still a bit banned from outdoor activities by my wife, but at least she's letting me out of the sickness prison today. I realized this is post #7,000 and I want to say thank you for putting up with me for this long. It's been a fun ride. I hope you all have a wonderful day!
  17. You could also try some Barkeeper's Friend asking with some 0000 steel wool. Just gently rub it on in a circular pattern, let it dry, and buff it off.
  18. That's gorgeous! Now I'm just looking for the pirate ship from Goonies.
  19. I'm glad to see she's taking up the game, Michael! Her swing is looking good.
  20. The Lagshot is an interesting club and I'm glad you were able to procure one, Chuck. Hopefully you'll see some positive results with it!
  21. Putting has been my strength for the last couple of years but after looking at my ShotScope data it seems like it's moved to being tee shots. Granted, it's a small sample size of 4 rounds and I don't quite think that's enough to make an educated statement. Three of the four rounds were last year with the Cobra Agera as my primary putter and I've had one this year switching back to the Stroke Lab Odyssey and it moved back to putting as my strength.
  22. I hope you get to feeling better, migraines are no joke.
  23. I just want to say these towels are top quality and want to send a shout-out to @GolfSpy_KFT for sending me one. I had missed out on getting in on the offer from the community call and mentioned something on an Instagram post Jason put out and he kindly offered to send me one. I enjoyed reading the review @Rob Person!
