Jumping on this bandwagon, I'm young and 6'3 but I'm at at the heaviest I have ever weighed at 228. Time to get back down. We are expecting in November and I have just been eating everything. I started my usual diet and exercise plan today. Basically eat smaller portions, run every day if possible. Looking forward to some accountability since the pregnant wife is probably not going to be much help at this point. First goal is 215. Im really glad I stumbled onto this thread.

I would kill to walk when I play, but Im a weekend warrior and around here, they force you to use golf carts for "Pace of Play" reasons. I get it, but it does suck, the only way to walk is to do a twilight round.

Shot an even 100 today. My best round is a 97 so that's not too bad. The worst part is I had a 45 on the back 9. Why can't I do that for all 18? Ha. I admittedly rushed on the front 9 as we played through some groups and that still makes me nervous. But I shot fairly well and my chipping game was in point. As promised. The Chaos fulfilled all my wildest dreams. The front 9 was abysmal. But the back 9 we started getting along. Also hit a 300+ drive(even if it was downhill) Edit: Review time The Wilson Chaos is everything it sounds like. The ultimate trash tier ball. Capable of allowing even the shortest of hitters to cave in clubfaces and send drives long enough to make DJ crap his pants. The flip side of that is that even the lightest chips around the green leave behind a tattered crippled version of the surface it once was. I felt ashamed knowing no divot tool on Earth could repair the craters left behind by Chaos. In summary. I play cheap balls off the tee and on dangerous par 3's, but then replace it with whatever softer ball I have in the bag for the rest of my shots on each hole. I'm sure thats against the rules, but it saves me loads of money and heartache. I like Callaway Super Softs because they're cheap and I can't tell a difference between them and the Pro V's or Chrome Softs around the green, but I also am not good enough for it to matter yet I dont think....

Had a personal best 97 with a crazy 43 on the front 9, then I snapped back to reality and ended with a 54 on the back 9. Still a huge accomplishment for me. Looking forward to breaking 95 soon!! Had a par save chip in on the 9th hole, best feeling I've had so far playing this sport.

Can confirm, Cut a 4 iron about 205 around a tree and put it on the green on a short par 5. Missed the eagle and birdie putt...saved par though... : /
