Today I would probably go with a full bag of Titleist but a close second would be Callaway. I’ve gotten along with both brands pretty well in the past.

I do greatly appreciate the insight on that but, unfortunately she’s already 17 so that option will not work for me. I’ve got an older set of graphite shafted clubs that the wife and daughter can share for the time being and we will see how serious that they want to take it first. Daughter is only an inch or so taller than my wife so it should work out.

Glad that the Mrs., and most of the groceries, are okay!

Good morning spies! Third and final day of the soccer tournament in Las Vegas today, although we don’t fly home until tomorrow. Yesterday afternoon’s weather was better but it’s still been chilly and rainy here for the last couple of days. 65° and sunshine forecasted for today though. We did make a stop at the PGA Tour superstore yesterday. I didn’t pick anything up but both my wife and daughter did. Daughter told me yesterday that she really wants to start playing golf so now I’ll have to get both of them to the range to start swinging clubs. Apparently taking them to TopGolf in Minnesota back in December really stuck with the kid. Happy Birthday to your daughter @Josh Parker! Hope she has a great day. Enjoy your St. Patrick’s Day everyone!!

I’m sticking with my Titleist TSi3 with the Tensei 1K Black shaft. We got along pretty well last season when it went into the bag in May. Probably will mess with the settings a bit but, no real complaints from me.

I’ve been using the midsize Golf Pride MCC+4 for the last few seasons. I am switching to the Midsize MCC this season but I’m patiently waiting to see what they offer up for the Masters special editions before I order grips.

We drive over by the Sphere to check it out but didn’t park and go see it. Still pretty cool. No rollercoasters here, wife and daughter are not fans.

That’s a totally understandable and relatable feeling for me. I have had a club show up with plastic wrap but no other packing before, thankfully no damage. It was not my Mizunos though, they were actually packed very well. I wonder if they’ve changed their packaging over the last couple years.

Good morning spies from not-so-sunny Las Vegas. Day two of our soccer tournament looks like it will be about the same as yesterday in terms of weather. Mid-50s with rain on and off all day. Two games today so not sure what else will be done today in terms of touristy things. We did go down to Freemont Street last night which was pretty interesting. I did find a golf ball stamped with a logo for Las Vegas for my wall collection. Maybe we’ll get a chance to walk the strip tonight or tomorrow night. It should be better weather tomorrow so maybe we’ll wait. Have a great day spies!

I’d go with my 8 iron which is usually in the 146-155 area for me.

It’s probably a good thing that I love my Titleist driver because that new AI-Smoke is a nice looking driver. I should go hit one just to see if I like for more than just looks.

The munis in this area are pretty relaxed, several people wearing tees and jeans. That attire doesn’t bother me in the least at a muni. Last year was interesting though, started seeing quite a few guys in basketball/athletic shorts and t-shirts with the sides cut out. There were even a few occasions of guys with no shirts at all. Way too relaxed IMO. However, the way they dress is on them not me so I say whatever makes them happy at the munis. I prefer golf shorts, or pants if it is chilly, and a polo or 1/4 zip because I find them to be comfortable. Doesn’t bother me in the least at a semi-private or private club if they have a dress code. Their course, their rules.

I wish I had the time for a round, that would be fun. Looking at how many courses are in the area and how they are built into neighborhoods is pretty interesting. Looks like a few of them were designed with a lot of creativity to fit them in.

Good morning from Las Vegas where I must have brought the Iowa weather with me. Highs in the 50s with rain today are expected for our first soccer game off the tournament. At least it’s conditions that we are used to playing in. The time zone change is definitely messing with me. Woke up at 3:45 (5:45 at home) and am struggling to go back to sleep so here I am on the forum. Did a little sight seeing yesterday by visiting the Hoover Dam. Didn’t take any tours but just walking around and checking things out was impressive enough. Have a great day spies!

Good morning spies!! Early start today as we have a two hour drive to get to the airport before heading to Las Vegas for a soccer tournament for the weekend. Downloaded “Full Swing” on Netflix to my phone to occupy my flight this morning since I’ve only made it through three episodes so far. Have a great day spies!

Good morning spies! It may only be Wednesday but today is my Friday. Leaving for Las Vegas tomorrow morning for a soccer tournament for my daughter and not returning to work until next Wednesday. Not really sure how relaxing this trip will be but an extended break from work is always welcome. Today will be a repeat of the last two days with a high around 71° although we are starting out at 35° this morning. Went to my first “Mug Club” social event at our favorite brewery last night and it was a pretty good time. Those types of events are not usually my thing but it went well. My wife was selected as a member of the Mug Club and I was just along for the ride. Have a wonderful day spies! ️
