I can’t even birdie them all in a season, there’s no way I’m getting it done in 24 hours. I’ve still got one hole, on one of the two courses that I play the most, that I have yet to shoot par after three years of playing there.

I’m still undecided, race is at 11pm for me. Watched qualifying this morning when I got up and I am leaning towards that route for the race as well. It does keep me away from my phone & social media when I watch it after the fact but I do miss out on voting for “Driver of the Day”.

I use that same setup, Oakley Half Jacket 2.0 with Prizm lens and most of the time I forget that I’m even wearing them. I’ve been wearing Oakley for over 30 years and they just work for me. That being said, I agree with some of the others that have started to go to a Sunglass Hut or similar if at all possible. Best bet is to try on everything and see what works for you.

Good morning spies! Planned on sleeping in this morning but my brain has other plans. It’s 18°F outside so I don’t think that I’ll be venturing that way so to the basement I go to roll some putts and do some chipping while I watch F1 qualifying from last night. Have a great day spies.

Same here. Getting par 10pm is tough in my world. Staying up until 1am to watch the whole race might be quite the task. That’s great news for her!

Good morning spies and TGIF!! For a three day work week, this one sure is dragging. Woke up to the lightest trace of snow on the ground. There is definitely a chance for more until about noon today but depending on one’s source for the forecast, it’s anywhere from a trace to 5”. Such a guessing game. F1 race weekend from Australia so the race will air live at 11pm on Saturday here so I’ll need to prepare for that if I want to watch it live. That means sleeping in or a nap on Saturday. There will not be any improvements in the weather so maybe both. Have a wonderful Friday everyone!

I hear that! Watching my daughter play soccer is like watching the World Cup for me. So much emotional attachment. She’s been playing since she was four, 17 now, and our entire lives have revolved around it since she started. Good Thursday morning spies! Temps are hovering in the low to mid 40s for the next few days which I am totally cool with, hopefully it keeps any chances of that white stuff from falling. We have the “Spring Kickoff” at the high school tonight to recognize all of the athletes that have spring and summer sports that they will be participating in. It’s been fun so far, watching my daughter transition from a timid freshman a couple seasons ago to a proud junior for this soccer season. Congratulations to @GolfSpy_APH for the recognition! You do a great job around here and I love the fact that you are engaged in so many threads. Your hard work is appreciated. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning spies!! Back to work after a week off for me and my body is trying hard to not go. Dragging quite a bit so far this morning. The high today is only 40° but I may take clubs with me to work just in case I’m feeling like walking a few holes after work. Always be prepared. Nothing else going on at the moment, have a great day spies. ️

First round of 2024 is in the books and it was not great but it was within my expectations. Shot 47/43 for a 90 with a mere 2 pars, 4 FIR and 3 GIR. All of the pars, FIR and GIR were on the back nine. The 38 putts really killed me today, just could not get myself into a rhythm. Two of those were three putts. Room for improvement and a fairly clear idea of what needs to be prioritized. Hopefully got the rust knocked off enough that the next round will be better.

I’m calling this one my best today because for some reason I rarely get a good drive on this hole. Par 5 playing 523 yards which is flat to the dogleg and then uphill to the green. Nothing special in terms of scoring but it was just one of those tee shots that had a nice flight to it. Ball stayed fairly low and was perfectly straight all the way to the fairway. Just one of those shots that makes me smile. I’ve been experimenting with driver settings lately and where I currently at seems to be working well.

Good Tuesday morning spies! Last day off of work for me from our trip to Las Vegas. Definitely needed that extra sleep this morning to help get back to normalcy. Currently working on some chipping and pitching with the new 54° Sub 70 in my basement and hoping that it warms up outside just enough in the next couple of hours so that I can go play a round to get 2024 started. My new sand wedge from Sub 70 arrived while I was at n Las Vegas, thankfully my Father lives just down the street and was able to grab it for me until I arrived back at home. Sub 70 JB Forged Full Groove 54° to match the 58° that I had bought a few weeks ago. Project X LZ 6.0 shaft and Golf Pride MCC midsize grip. Also picked up a towel and alignment stick cover while I was at it.

That’s always kind of bugged me as well but I forget about because I’m always using my phone to post and don’t see it.

I’m a glove wearer for full shots as well. Huge fan of Bender gloves with their various styles. I use the full leather elite when it is chilly outside and the mesh backed gloves during the hotter days, the palm tree design is my goto. I also remove my glove between shots to help minimize it getting super sweaty. With or without a glove, is all about feel and comfort for that shot.

Sub70 wedges are the only one that I have experience with and it has only been for a few weeks but, I am impressed so far. Quality product, great price, and built to order for my specs in quick time.

Definitely not the best way to start a vacation! Glad that everything worked out for you to still go on the cruise.
