Mr TRUE
I didn't know Scratch made putters... huh. Jeff McCoy at Scratch made a couple putters for Ryan at the start of the year - Not sure if Jeff or Don made this one but Ryan really likes the weight. Mr TRUE
Ryan will be wearing these next week at the Wyndham - essentially our production model. He will also have the White with Black Sole - I'll post that photo next week (after our Newsletter goes out with all of the colorways).
RookieBlue7
I'm glad they finally realized why he liked the Tiger Shark and then the Machine. Because they're center shafted and face balanced and he putted well with them. After the Masters, Jeff's Mc2 he made Ryan was a heel shafted blade. I was curious about that one, then the next one was an anser type. Glad to see they finally got it right. I think the MACHINE Ryan was playing was just slightly off center because it helps him release the toe a little bit. With a perfectly face balanced putter Ryan tends to leave the face open and push the ball slightly to the right. I putted with Ryan's MACHINE and my face balanced Ping C67 and there was a little bit of difference. But you are absolutely correct - The center shaft works great for Ryan and it looks like the Scratch guys may have nailed the weight and feel issue for him. After putting lights out at the AT&T with the MACHINE - Ryan must be feeling really good with the Scratch putter to switch over.
