  1. Anyone who played Ventus black tried going to tr black but dropped the weight class? For example - black 6x to tr black 5x for driver Or black 7x to tr black 6x for fairway
  2. I have always worn beanies, just for warmth. I want to wear a baseball cap but sometimes at full draw my string touch the bill. So Im trying to make a baseball cap work, because I would however like to keep the sun out of my eyes and use one of these little little you can clip on the underside of the bill. Maybe a brimmed beanie is for me???
  3. I think it would be really cool if we could link our Spotify accounts to add our own custom walk up music, instead of just being limited to the game’s soundtrack. Imagine being able to have Edwin Diaz walk out to Narco by Timmy Trumpet just like he does in real life!!! And how about ripping sounds from YouTube videos, such as the PC Richard & Son sound whenever a Yankee pitcher gets a strikeout!!!
  4. Unless you are able to hit balls several times a week, I just think it wreaks havoc on your swing. Took about a month break due to an elbow issue. During that month I struck the ball better than the prior month and a half when I was speed training. Figured it might just have been a swing tweak I was making that was causing the bad striking During speed training. Well, started back on the sticks this week...blue stick only method. Hit balls today and could barely find the face. I was dancing around the ball...all kinds of movement going on. Just don't think it's good unless you can hit balls often...probably right after your speed session.
  5. i was wondering if anyone really pays attention to the super bowl commercials?
  6. got some of these shoes at the start of the new year. however, as a result of the weather, i've only worn them 4-5 times. the first 2 or 3 times, they rubbed a bit on the heel, and i accepted this as an aspect of 'wearing in' the shoes. however, they are getting worse. to the extent that, last night after finishing playing, my heels were shot to bits. how can i resolve this?? there is already a bit of heel pad wear, inside the shoe, though that is in the same place i get heel wear in many of my trainers. has anyone else had this problem? should i return them?? should i wear 2 pairs of socks?? i love the look of the shoes, the grip. the rest of the shoe feels comfy, but they're tearing up my heels. i've got a pair of Powerbands, which i've not worn yet. are these going to have the same effect as the 360's??
  7. I'd love any suggestions for moving companies for a West Coast move. Not a huge amount of stuff...a one bedroom plus small office.
  8. I've been pondering greenside spin and its importance for my game. I look back at last summer when I played the e6 the majority of the time and my short game was my strength. I knew what the ball would do and I played for it. To me, short game is good technique mixed with feel. It's not how much the ball is going to spin. I just want to know what the ball is going to do so I can visualize it in my head before the shot. I can honestly say that playing an harder covered ball never negatively affected my green side game. The plus side was that I had the benefit of using a ball that 1) I could compress well 2) limited side spin 3) got the most distance from. The one negative was that, when the greens were very firm, I could over run greens with a long iron or hybrd, but I think that's an easy adjustment as well. I never had an issue stopping the ball quickly with a scoring iron or wedge. I see people make comments that a harder covered ball would make it too hard for them to score and I just wonder if that's based on reality or on perception and marketing. Especially when that spin that is so sought after may be hurting their ability to get to the green.
  9. I am considering putting these grips on my clubs but want to hear other's opinions. Obviously a thicker lower half of the grip should make it harder to turn over a shot, but any other thoughts on this grip? Any guys on tour using them yet or not really? Also read somewhere that people think they wear quicker because the rubber is different or something..
  10. budget is £40, it’s a group gift for a work colleague, bloke in his 20s. I’m clueless, but am the resident gift organiser. I don’t know anything about what he has, is there anything generic I could get with a golf theme to it??
  11. I am looking for a new and better remote electric cart. I have been using a Batcaddy X3R for the last 4 years and the frame is starting to have issues, the points that it rivets together, the rivets are falling out from the holes being stretched and worn out. As near as I can tell the fixed front wheel is the design culprit causing the problem. Has anyone had experience with a remote control cart not showing significant frame wear after 4 years of use? The Caddy trek R2, Kangaroo golf Hillcrest series, and the Motocaddy S7 all have swiveling front wheels that look like they would address the stress on the frame from turning. All are considerably more $$$$ than the Batcaddy X3R was. Do not mind paying more, but want quality for the $$$$.Has anyone had experience with these models? Is there another trolley that would be better than these I have not found yet?
  12. Hello. Looking to get a new Titleist Golf Bag and pair it up with a push cart. Any combo that works well? Had a stand bag for over a decade but looking to push rather than carry moving forward.
  13. I am curious if anyone has tried the new CBD oil to control their epilepsy. I have read many great things about it really controlling seizures and maybe trying it myself. I have been on about 9 different medications now and am going back on Monday for another one. If this round of medications doesn't work I am really thinking about the CBD oil. Does anyone have experience with this? Or know someone who does?
  14. I purchased this a few weeks back. Has anybody else tried/use this? It’s an expensive purchase. However, I have been working on a slightl “over the top” move for 8 months. Until getting this I would think I was making progress only to find when I had my next lesson I really wasn’t making any. This has helped me on a swing to swing basis to “feel” what is and isn’t over the top. Can’t wait to work on my wedge game coming up.
