I have seen people post their first round of the year in another topic but I wanted to start this one with a longer goal in mine. Let's post every round you play with your score and some stats and let's how much we can improve together. Also with your post add some things you were focusing on during the round or what you were trying to improve on in the round. So the round ill start with is the nine hole round I played this past weekend. I shot a a 48 so 13 over par at this course. It's a course in NC called green meadows. It's a fairly easy course with no holes too long but also no real fairways. There are no bunkers and water comes into play only on a couple holes and are easily avoidable I was pretty happy with my score because I wanted to work on my shots off the tee and approach shots. By approach I don't really mean accuracy or GIRs because I hit no GIRs but ball striking. I have been struggling with fat shots lately and after a few drills I got from videos the problem has gone away. I didn't hit any fat shots or thins. My yardage was actually pretty good I finished pin high on a few holes but to the left or right of the green. My putting has gotten worse thought lately. I think it's because I am still adjusting to a new putter that is a little heavier than my previous one. Going forward I am going to practice more putting to get a better feel of the putter and practice my chipping more. I'm leaving myself from way to far of putts from my chipping which is hurting my score. Anyways sorry for the length of the post but post your latest round and what you're trying to improve on.
