I'm looking at shafts weights (65g for a driver here, 115g for a wedge there...) and was wondering how they measured that. 

Is it 115g per linear metre, 115g per square metre of material, if it's 115g for the longest shaft they make in that style/weight before it gets trimmed (If so is there a standard between Aldila and KBS and Fujikura etc).

I believe that the weight that is listed on the manufacturer website is uncut raw length weight but I have been wrong before!
