Ahart4444
Have the SC300 and PRGR, that I use with a net and my Stack. Both very limited but also very inexpensive. agram57
I have a PRGR that I got a couple of years ago, at that time it was under $200. I compared it once to GCQuad at the PGA Superstore and it was very close. It gives accurate club head and ball speeds and smash factor, which gives you a good idea of how close to the sweet spot you are hitting. It doesn't tell you anything about ball flight so it isn't as useful indoors as some others. Even though it is just a calculated, no wind value I like to look at the carry distance when I am using it on the range. It may not match what I would get on the course in real life conditions but it is good for comparison.
OptimalJ
Has anyone built a set up with a backyard net, hitting foam balls and a launch monitor. If so, which monitor and how did it perform? Senior Champ
I have the Foresight GC3. I use it in my garage and take it to the outdoor driving range. I mainly use as a driving range tool it to verify the distance and spin rate for each club, to ensure that I am consistent. If I start getting variations, it helps me while working on my swing fundamentals to dial it back in. I also use it to test different clubs or shafts, to compare to my current gamer. During the winter when I can't play on the course due to cold or snow, I use it as a golf simulator to play a course indoors. I absolutely love it and worth every penny! It's been a game changer. msizzle
I'd really like to get one. Looking at Rapsodo, Mevo, Garmin. I have a net and hitting mat and right now my 5 year old uses it more than me, which is only because my kids dictate my time until they go to bed. I'm looking to get a launch monitor so I have some feedback in addition to hitting and working on swing mechanics on video. Quote Mike
tatum
I’ve just finished setting up what I call v1 of my patio simulator experience - Garmin R10 with Spornia 8ft net and awesome golf ran to an ipad / air play to tv. Eventually I will upgrade to a camera based system that sits beside the ball for space and weather reasons - and eventually move to GSPRO as well. Barrio6
No, but definitely in the market for one nothing to fancy hopefully under $300 and no monthly fee. (that’s asking a lot). Jean D 1 Quote Lifetime bogey golfer
Jean D
I own a Garmin R10 as well as a Rapsodo MLM2 Pro for both range sessions and for my home simulator. Both work well, but the dual camera (and option to use your cell as a 3rd POV) set the MLM2 Pro above the R10 for features. The downside to the MLM2 Pro: the $$$$ for the subscription. Downside to both of them: can't putt on the sim (radar-based). Was looking at a Bushnell Launch Pro... but not available in Canada (US and UK only, and geo-locked). The Foresight GC3 is stupidly expensive... sigh. It may not look like it (and need an updated pic with the carpet laid out)... but that's a 8' high x 9' wide Carl's DIY C-Series enclosure in my office... Did you see the numbers match what you were seeing with ball flight? bama no 1 1 Quote Cobra Aerojet MAX 9* Cobra Air X 3 Wood Cobra BioCell 7 Wood Sub 70 699 Pro 4-AW Sub 70 JB Full Groove 54* & 58* Odyssey White Hot Rossie Ball: Maxfli Tour X

ArchCaptain
I have an outdoor setup into a net. I have the Garmin R10 and just picked up the SkyTrak Plus. I have a nice Real Feel golf mat and hit into a net. I've been using the GC2 and GC4 at GolfTec, and they switched out the GC2s to SkyTrak Plus. I really like the unit and display. bama no 1 and TJ Hall 2 Quote "The only thing a golfer needs is more daylight" - Ben Hogan
Mr Wilson223
I currently don’t own one. I am in the market to purchase one. I here there a lot of benefits to a MLM and like others have said this will get me out on the range more. Grey opportunity for the testers. bama no 1 1 Quote Wilson D7 4-PW / Cobra F8+. Driver.
