  1. Great courses in my mind, do not have gimmicky holes. Have great combination of par 3, 4, and 5s. Has great visuals and tough but fair greens. Also a good combo of risk reward holes. Like some drivable or shorter par 4s or reachable par 5s. Lastly, a good one definitely does not have to be ranked, etc. in fact the unranked but affordable courses are the really good ones…
  2. Brings back memories if that’s the case… love that course… best deal going when I was a junior…
  3. This is amateur hour. Really disappointed by the look of it. Also the logos and the brand name are also pretty awful. With Tigers money and reputation you would think they would get a top designer to work with him on this. To be honest really surprised by how bad this really is.
  4. Can’t wait to hear about the Q10 from the reviews. Congrats testers!
  5. I think every wedge makers is stepping up their game. There are so many great looking wedges out there. These are clearly in the mix. The MG4, Mizuno SM10 and Artisan, so many awesome choices out there….
  6. Going to UConn game would be sweet. They look like the real deal this year!
  7. Was hoping to learn how to do this. This is precisely what I needed to see. Thanks Jamie!
  8. Would love to see Artisan wedges for testing. They look fantastic. I have seen very positive reviews in the magazines.
  9. I think fitting is key with wedges. I also think fittings outdoors in bunkers and rough is also key to the right fit. Yes a fairway is a good start but getting a feel in odd lies is important.
  10. Love this course. It’s epic. Great layout with awesome views. The clubhouse bar facing the 18th is a perfect 19th hole. The locker room with the player names and photos is small but pretty cool too. The Manele course on Lanai is pretty awesome too. No one is on it and it reminds you of a Hawaii version of Pebble.
  11. I will be totally honest. I can’t remember. But in Toronto back in the day, a lot of courses had some expensive public courses on weekends during prime time. We found that Avoiding long 5.5+ hour rounds was worth the extra money.
  12. Sorry, but I am in the other boat on this one. I think a HIO should be on a proper 18 hole full golf course. I know it’s controversial, but that’s my view…
  13. At the store these look absolutely perfect. The look at address is outstanding…. Wish I had the game to have these in my bag!
  14. I have gone a bit lighter and it’s made a world of difference in terms of consistency over the entire round and on less than full iron shots. i think it’s definitely worth exploring! Try graphite shafts not just steel. The extra vibration absorption on mishits can also be helpful to your body.
  15. I am in a similar boat. I have played less but a lot of years in and come really close. A number of approaches to less than 6 inches or hit the flag stick but no hole in one’s. I have hit a few 2nd shots from the fairway on par 3s for eagles over the years though. Probably around 10-12 of those. Golf can be a cruel game that way!
  16. Good Morning from the North. Nice morning walk. Definitely no golf outside! Hope all the spies are having a great weekend! Go Niners!
  17. These gloves are great. Really hard to beat. Plus the MGS logo is
  18. I’m thinking of adding a new driving iron to replace my Titleist in the bag. The Ping looks great. Specifically the I-crossover. Not sure which shaft yet. But a GD shaft would be awesome.
  19. Can someon post some good calf exercises, mine are not very photo worthy!
  20. Totally agree with you Paul!
  21. I am going to stay with my Srixon Z-Star Diamond. It’s a great ball and cheaper than a Pro V. I just can’t get myself excited spending the price for a Pro V. I find the Z Star Diamond is just a solid ball in all aspects for my game. I don’t sense any Real difference with a Pro V, at least with my game.
  22. If you are a club ho, aren’t you buying a new one every six months? I wish I had that kind of budget since getting fitted for a new driver is like Xmas! I agree with many on this post. I think a good fairway finding driver with decent distance for your particular swing is what makes the most sense for the majority of golfers. If you find one it’s hard to not keep it as your gamer. My TSR3 is what works for me. The Stealth 2 when I tried it went a bit further, when I hit it on the screws, but was a lot less in avg distance compared to the Titleist on slight mis-hits. I don’t have the consistency to hit any club on the screws remotely consistently…
  23. The name alone makes me want to try it at a fitting. Have to try one this year!
  24. Thank you! Cooper makes nice photos easy!
