  1. Super curious here to read the reviews, especially re distance and dispersion on this club vs larger head/other brands + models.
  2. Hey @rlb4 I have the MPF in L flex that I don't use. It's only been gamed once or twice. If you want it, DM me and I will make you a great deal. I will have my PGATSS remove the adapter; with the Callaway adapter it is playing at just under 45" I believe. Anyway, I am trying to decide which OP shaft I want to ask FABWIFE for for Christmas - an ACCRA FX 3.0, Ventus Blue, ProForce V2, or the MPF in R flex. I know which one my wallet prefers . . .
  3. Happy anniversary @GolfSpy BOS and thank you for all you do!
  4. Love this, @azstu324! So glad you tried and reported this to us. That said - darn you! Now I have to tinker more myself. The L flex in this shaft was too whippy for me, but with your recommendation . . . off I go for the R flex! Thank you!
  5. Good morning, Spies! @Josh Parker I hope your kiddo feels better soon! Happy birthday to your son @Jnoble89! Work is still crazy. Was up til 2 am, and back at the office before 8:30. It's good to be busy; it sure beats the alternative. I would change a lot of things about my chosen career if I could, but near the top of the list would be moving the busy season away from the end of fiscal year and holidays. On the good news front, I am excited to say I located a good condition used Foresight GC2 and expect to close on that purchase next week. This is the first component of my slow-roll garage sim build, and was the most research-intensive part for me. This should kick progress into a somewhat higher gear. Maybe I will have it done by the time spring comes. Ha. I wish you all amazing days!
  6. I am also intrigued by the Accra. $225 is not too bad relative to other shafts, but I think we have been somewhat spoiled by the less expensive OP shafts many of us have had success with. Those raving about the tight dispersion with the Accra certainly have my attention . . ..
  7. Curious to hear how it goes, @azstu324. I tried the MPF in L flex, and it's not stable enough for me. I should try it again and slow waaayyyy down I guess. Maybe I will tip trim it for fun. Plz let us know how the R flex is for you!
  8. I have been doing some research on other shafts that may fit the bill. While these are a tad heavier, they just might work. I suspect low torque matters. (The MP5 L-flex is at 50g and 4.6TQ, and the PLB A-flex is at 44g and 5.0 TQ btw). Has anyone tried these? Ventus Blue TR 50 - R2 flex, 56g, 3.7TQ, mid launch, stiff tip ProForce V2 55 -- A flex, 56g, 3.7TQ, mid launch, medium tip The Ventus is spendy, of course. ProForce not so much. Thoughts or experiences with these?
  9. All good points. Mine (eventually, hopefully soon) is going in my garage, which has a 2-story open ceiling with no rafters. (!!) Wasted space. So my options are to extend from the cage, or put the projector on the ground, which seems more stable and much simpler. Admittedly, I was going to let you be my guinea pig on that! Ha.
  10. Looking great @Lacassem! Really impressed with the cage, and inspired to likely do the same. Interested to hear your experience if you put your projector on the ground in an enclosure. That seems like it would be fine, and actually simpler in many cases - especially like yours where you have a very tall ceiling and it would be tough to mount other than extended from the cage.
  11. Good morning, Spies! Yesterday was a rough day due to people being people. Today will be much better, I can feel it. The weather is warm and sunny for Indy in December. Likely golfing tomorrow afternoon! (Shhh ... don't tell anyone about my hooky (or is it hookie?).) I'm excited b/c I may have finally settled on a launch monitor for the garage sim, and I may have found a used one in good condition at a reasonable price. Fingers crossed. This is the first acquisition in the journey . . . I thought I found one on FB, but no. Just a (somewhat) clever scammer. Not clever enough. I suppose the truly intelligent criminals are frying bigger fish. Wishing you all super days!
  12. Good morning, Spies! Year-end is nuts, with travel and work projects, etc. I wish I had more time to be on the forum! But I did want to swing by and wish you all well, and say I miss this place! Once stuff slows down for the actual holidays my annoying multi-post days will resume. Now, who wants to help me collect some bills before year-end? Anyone have some long metal sticks around they could use to help convince some deadbeats to pay? LOL. I wish you all great days!
  13. I am still gaming my OP. I tried several shafts a few weeks ago, and it's still best for me. I once again need to work on my swing, but there's no question the OP is the best result for me right now.
  14. GooD morning Spies! travel day for me. Gold tomorrow if the Nawlins weather cooperates! violating all sorts of rules typing whike taxiing. Better go! Great days to all!
  15. Good morning Spies! It's a cold morning in Indy, with snow on the stoop and frozen dog ... walkers. Luckily I booked some warm sim time at PGATSS for early evening practice. I need to figure out once and for all the 5W/5H/hybrid iron club in my bag. Good luck with your procedure @Coachbutt! Sending prayers your way. I am fortunate to travel to warm(er) climes this weekend, as we head to New Orleans for a meeting and some fun time too. A friend is getting us onto Metairie CC Friday. It may be my last outdoors round for a bit, sadly. Also, I am in the market for a used Foresight GC2 (if I may share this bleg). If anyone has one they want to unload, please reach out. To all my fellow northerner/midwesterners - stay warm! I wish you all amazing Tuesdays.
  16. Congratulations Testers! This seems like an intriguing test. Will the AI matter? Good luck with your testing!
  17. Great summary article, @GolfSpy_APH. Well done.
  18. Good morning, Spies! Wishing you all super days. Speedy recovery wishes to the kiddo, @GolfSpy_APH! It's gray outside, which matters not because I am just a working fool today and tomorrow before sliding into some holiday time. Best wishes to all!
  19. The yellow is fantastic. The cover is super durable and the ball just performs.
  20. Good morning and happy day Spies! Jason @sirchunksalot wishing you positive news and outcomes today. It will be a busy few days here before relaxing into the holiday. I am very much looking forward to having all three daughters home. Two were here last night and we had a blast. Hoping I can squeeze some golf in next weekend, weather permitting. I hope you all have super days!
  21. I switched out my Miura CB-57s 5-8 today for my TS3s, paired with my TS4s and TS1. All I can say is I shot my PB and the TS3 felt so soft and pure when hit solid. Simply amazing. I love these clubs and they are not coming out of my bag unless I pick some vintage blades just for fun. Simply fantastic clubs.
  22. I was disappointed that I improved so much this season, dropping my handicap into single digits (barely), yet never broke 80. But it was a great summer nonetheless. After taking nearly a month off due to travel and a busy work schedule, I stole a late November round today on what was a gorgeous day here in Indy. Mid 50’s, sunny, no wind - just beautiful. Played at River Glen GC in Fishers, IN. This is Hole #16, which played as a 170 yard par 3 today. I was pleased to play really well for me. After gaming a combo of Miura 5-8, Maltby 7-P,G irons for a few months, I thought I might need a little more forgiveness in the early winter and played an all-Maltby combo today, of TS3 5-8, TS4 9-P, TS1 G, and the irons were deadeye all day. I also ditched the driving iron and played Paradym TD driver, Rogue 3W and 5W, and Paradym X 3 and 5 hybrids. The hybrids are better for me than the driving hybrid irons, it turns out. I was fortunate to hit them all well. So, in sum, I finally broke 80! And that’s with no birdies (although I did have super near misses slide over the cup’s edge on a couple, which would have turned my 79 into a 77 or 78). it was such a fun day with a good friend. Hoping to play Friday too, weather permitting. Thanks for reading!
  23. Sincere condolences @cksurfdude. Pets are family. Hang in. Work is crazy. So are some people. That’s my day in a nutshell. Hope your day is not crazy. Go play golf if you can!
