  1. I really like the Mizuno RB Tour X, not cheap but the cover feels more durable and they really play well
  2. Joined the Xbox crowd lately, never been a big Xbox fan; but it’s a great ecosystem and I love ea sports pga, the ms flight simulator and starfieldy and the system really feels well.
  3. Aerojet LS 7.5° stays in the bag. tested the Mizuno ST Max - a great driver, but I just madly love the Aerojet
  4. I got my hands on a Cobra AJ LS with 7.5° and made it work beautifully for me over the winter (well, from time to time I got the wobble and fire one or two away) and I am pretty sure it will stick in the bag, it´s just too good. Nevertheless I get a Mizuno ST Max next week, just to try it … (we all know how this can end.. don`t we? )well and I could end up with a full Mizuno bag… not that I would have any benefit from this.
  5. Just all the best to your buddy Samson, hope he will be fine. Looks like he has a great home and has a great time out there. That´s a lot
  6. Well, I do have a full bag of Mizuno stuff, only the driver is Cobra (LTDx, now Aerospeed) - so I am curious about the new Darkspeed LS, but would also love to try the Mizuno ST-G 440. But for that I would need proper shaft options, that´s where it lacks mostly, even when willing to pay an upgrade here I barely get my hands on proper Fujikura shafts or similar. Mizuno is not a big thing here with woods, for Cobra I know a fitter offering proper shaft options so… tending to try some again and stick to the Aerospeed in the end
  7. This thread makes me feel much more „normal“ than my wife say´s I am, when it comes to golf equipment. Thx guys.
  8. Unfortunately … over the winter there is no need to do any changes… Cobra Driver is set. Well, tbh… i got my hands on an Aeorjet LS 7.5° Driver Head and I couldn’t resist - so I am working on getting a feel for it. Coming from the LTDx LS in 9° and having my first 300m drive with it and driving my first Par 4s this season I am pretty confident I get this monster flying. Also clubhead speed is promising and going up 110 and some close to the 120 but control is still limited up there. Mizuno ST-Z 3+5 Wood is set Mizuno MP225 (3) 4-GW is set. Well and than there are maybe… the wedges. I have „just“ 49° (GW - MP225) + 56° (Mizuno T22) and I am thinking about adding 54 and 58 instead of just one wedge - but i love the 56°. Not sure if I just stick with Mizuno T-24s or maybe try the Taylormade MG 4s?
  9. Got my hands on a 7.5 Aerojet LS head so I will give it a try over the winter. Did not think about replacing my LTDx LS but i wanted to try something below 9 degrees loft for quite some time and that is the chance.
  10. Well, stumbled upon this, so I need to post the Whippets in here
  11. I am currently trying out the Mizuno RB Tour/ and RB Tour X - as I got them at a pretty competitive price (35€ a dozen) and I am pretty impressed by them. Might be my new go-to ball. before that I was supporting a local company called „IKARUS Golf“ that is sourcing premium Golfballs from manufacturers and import them by themselves and they are at the same Golfclub as I. They are only available within Europe btw. But I really like the feel and flight of the Mizuno RB Tour (X). I think i might stick to them, as i do with irons, wedges, fairway woods, my bag… the shoes and gloves - i might be biased again… i can already feel it by myself
  12. Hi, indeed there is a kind of „miss match“ in the shaft weights - cool, that you go for that and I love your feedback! I got fitted into my new irons (played MX-23s form my friend until than) and the 115g or 125g options just did not feel well at this time. And bought the fairway woods on personal choice based on my feel and idea at that time. Over the wintertime i was pushing my training and made some adjustments to my swing with the pro. Also got into training a bit golf swing related. I learned that I just get to less accuracy with my driver and found out by trying out shafts that weight really helps me to find the middle (and things closer to the middle) much more often, so I started to go from 64,66,69,76 Gramms upwards. The 85g shaft was honestly hard to hit the first weeks from moving the weight, but it does the trick for me (played my first 275 drives and one +300m drive (total)- with some wind tbh). And i really got used to it. While my Irons still feel really good with the 105g shaft. The Fairways start to feel very very wobbly - but I hit them too good, to just change them for good (5w is at 220m, 3w 240m) and while I based on my handicap still have some amount of bad shots, these woods go straight and high as they should So: What would you think a proper weight for fairways and Irons would match my drivers feeling? Just to get a clue, maybe I get a chance to hit some matching shafts
  13. Hi all, I am from Munich, Germany, started playing Golf after a 15y break as my best friend that brought me into the game died and I just didn’t felt like playing; having his old Irons and bag and stuff. 15 years later I thought I might give it a try again and since than I am hooked again and playing since 1,5 years again. Getting some lessons in and coming slowly back to get some of the good old energy in. WITB: Driver - Cobra LTDX LS peacock blue at 9° - Shaft: HZRDUS Smoke black handcrafted 6.5 85g Fairway woods - Mizuno ST-Z 220 3W at 13° and 5W at 17° - Shaft: HZRDUS Smoke black RDX 6.0 70g Irons - Mizuno MP225 3-G - Shaft: N.S Nippon Pro 105 Stiff Wedge - Mizuno T-22 56° D-Grind - Shaft: Dynamic Gold S400
