As most have said...and they are right, the putter is the most used club in the bag.  It makes up over 30% of the shots taken in a round.

I have played my Yes! Callies for over 15 years and only paid $120 or so for it.  I look at the current prices of putters and get immediate sticker shock.  I can see paying $400+ for a driver, but not for a putter. I have never been fit for a putter, seems a bit strange when I think about it. To me it is all about the feel of the ball off the face and how it aligns when standing over a putt. I can do that on the practice areas at PGA Superstore or at Golf Galaxy.

I think the most I would pay is around the $200 range.

I thought a putter fitting was ridiculous until I had one done.

If someone could demonstrate that a new putter was materially better than my existing putter in terms of performance, then I'd put the cost / benefit alongside drivers. The trouble with that is that fitting a putter doesn't really give you any idea of how you'll get on with that putter on a course, whereas with a driver or other irons, your shots on a simulator indoors or on a range outdoors are going to give you a very good idea of how that club is going to feel and perform on a course.

My PXG putter fitting really helped me. I tried different shafts-heads and grips. I was able to view the data on a simulator and make an informed decision.

Finally, after years of searching, I have found my new pair of golf shoes. Will likely go buy a few more pair so I'm set for a while because I've been wearing the same pair for over 7 years. I am a size 13/14 4E and if I don't have the heel BOA system, shoes that are wide enough in the toe area usually flop on my heel a bit and make golfing in them a pain. Happy to have found something comfortable that fits! My last shoe was the FootJoy D.N.A. and weirdly enough it fit me perfectly in a 12 4E. None of their other shoes in the past 7 years have fit the same until now with the HyperFlex! So pumped!

Thanks for the info:) I may end up picking  a pair up. Just bought the SQAIRZ and they are tight. Return them and waiting for a replacement size in a larger size.
