  1. Good morning! Woke up to an invite to an event at the most exclusive club in the state. Lovely day out. I'm dying to go play 9. Which is a terrible value out here. I think that's the only reason I really want to join this club; eat acces to 9 whenever I have a slow day at work. Just hard to justify when I have teenagers who want cars! 2. I try to bring at least 9 new balls with me and about 4 "mental health" balls that I don't feel pressured to retrieve. Nothing worse than buying more balls at the turn... B Sent from my SM-S921U using Tapatalk
  3. I just bought it. 2024 Phantom 5 with an oversized Matador grip. From seeing on YouTube, to seeing it at the PGASS, and now seeing it my bag. I feel pretty. B Sent from my SM-S921U using Tapatalk
  4. @BallsLeon "Then I proceeded to knock my next four drives dead straight with solid distance for me (~270ish) my instructor was laughing at this point and wondering what the problem was." Oh man this is some relatable sauce right here! Only time you're hoping for a bad swing, right? I've told my swing coach that sometimes I just need him to stare at me to fix my swing. Hope you get that 3 fixed up without too much headache. B Sent from my SM-S921U using Tapatalk
  5. Started out at the putting green after the gym today. Spent half hour rolling lag putts, trying to better understand the weight of this new putter. Then 4 hours of meetings, training, and sales pitches. After work, I hit some 30 yard chips in the backyard with the 58. Don't worry, my kids water table was marked safe from this exercise. Grumble. Then, I liked the @Rob Person 7 iron idea so I hit about 30 of em before calling it quits for the day. Golf is awesome. I think I like practicing as much at playing. Wish I were better at it. Cheers, B Sent from my SM-S921U using Tapatalk
  6. When I'm swinging it good, I'm hitting a draw. On off days, it gets a bit wipey and fades. Tempo on the course is a real bugger. B Sent from my SM-S921U using Tapatalk
  7. Some speed training tonight. No program. No weights. Just a driver and the MLM. Smooth is fast, smooth is fast... Bested my PR by 1mph and it felt glorious. 112. The speed is not useful with a ball but I reckon getting comfortable with higher speeds will start to bleed over eventually. Or not. Feels good to swing fast for the sake of speed alone. I've found that my fastest swings all had a left foot lift in common. Weird. B
  8. Morning, Spies. Tee time in 90 minutes and I'm cancelling. Never do that but I feel like crap and it's going to be raining literally all day. Plus it's cold. No thanks! If I wouldn't enjoy a hike I wouldn't enjoy golf. Pulling for Wesley today.. B
  9. I'm considering some tasteful paint fills but I'm not sure yet if I don't just enjoy the clean look. B
  10. This is only the second putter I've ever had. It's pretty nice though. Might keep it around for a while. Kind of a birthday present and a "good work" gift too. Evidently I've been using the wrong flat stick for my stroke. The SAM device says it should be face balanced. So be it. Had a nice little session today with it in the putting green. Quite like it. Is there a secret handshake or something? B
  11. This is a thread? Very cool. Thanks fellas. I'm headed to one of my favorite courses this morning for a round with my brother. He even paid for it! 42 is going to be a good year. Cheers B
  12. Just figured out something about my practice space; the garage. On the course and on the range, I hit a draw with my driver; miss is left. On the sim, I've been hitting fades with a snap hook miss. I've FINALLY figure it out. For some reason, I have been standing WAY closer to the ball in the garage. I only figured that out from watching the vids back on the MLM2PRO. Gonna need to figure out how to ensure my spacing is WAY more consistent. Maybe it has something to do with my garage floor being slightly tilted. Always nice to put a puzzle piece in place.
  13. These are so choice. Love the color selection. We may be matching here shortly. B
