I think it would surely be a fun experiment! My guess would be that it would shave 8-10 strokes off of your typical score, but once again, that’s just a guess.

I’ve been using my Lazrus set for a couple of years. Love them and actually looking to get a brand new set of them! Highly recommend them for a mid/high handicapper that plays on some weekends (me!)

I don't have much experience with the wedges you mentioned. Since you are growing into your current set, your budget strategy is about right. Wedges can wear out rather quickly, so finding something reasonable will tide you over until your game progresses and you start looking for your next set.
I did find this set on Rock Bottom Golf: Ray Cook Wedge Set
It's three wedges (52, 56 and 60 degree which you may want to wait on) for $102 when you uses their 15% off promo code "HEART" at checkout. That's good until midnight tonight. They should be better than your Knight wedge and you won't break the bank!

I just started playing golf in September. My budget was pretty low, so I bought a Ram starter set that included 6-PW, a driver, a 3 wood, a 4 hybrid, and a putter. I picked up a SW from a thrift store. I assume it is 56 degree, but I’m not 100% sure.
