Anybody else excited for more details to start coming out? I'm ready for teams, challenges, pictures of new clubs. This is going slower than the countdown!

All this talk about fairway woods got me thinking. When I first got serious about golf, I carried a 4 wood with 16.5 degrees of loft. It was a TaylorMade V Steel and I loved that thing. I love my Cobra 3 wood, but if I go to 4 wood loft it closes the face. What fairways out there are you people liking that are 3HL or 4 wood? I've seen TaylorMade and Callaway with those options, any other good ones that people are liking?

I see it all around me. I'm not usually one to pat my own back, but I'm proud of how I coach these kids. I'm a super laidback person that loves kids. I can't grasp how anyone can treat kids the way they do as coaches. I'm as competitive as they come but I started coaching my nephew at 3 years old and he just turned 9. I've coached baseball, basketball, and football. Every year the draft sheet is full of requests to be with me or one other guy because we emphasize fun, improving, and the important things. We turn out to be pretty dang good too because there's no pressure to perform. It's unreal how much pressure some of these younger kids get put on them from coaches and parents. I also coach a travel baseball team over the summer and it's even worse then. I grew up watching my dad coach me and my sister in sports and to this day grown adults that he coached will come running over to shake his hand or hug him because of the impact he made and that's exactly how I want to be.

I love it! My hallway was always a lane for me as a kid too, I had 2 liter bottles and a ball that I used like crazy, haha. It wasn't a school sport here, I just had to compete locally and then got my name and scores to a recruiting agency and let them do the work. When my favorite school was interested I jumped at the opportunity.

Does anyone remember the Kick X Golf Blast Driveway? It had the same idea as this, being good from the tee or fairway, and had a really weird design to it. I won one in a contest once and gave it to my Dad, he didn't use it long. Hoping this is something you all enjoy!

Heck yeah, nice shot! I started bowling when I was just big enough to hold a ball. My dad bowled professionally when I was a kid and we used to always take him to the Atlanta airport and I remember picking him up and he'd have trophies bigger than me sometimes. I ended up being recruited to colleges for bowling and golf, chose bowling at Georgia Southern, then after being ranked in the top 10 freshman in the country, I tore a ligament in my ring finger that to this day won't properly heal. I still love the sport and love seeing others enjoy it, thanks for that awesome video!

Good morning everyone! Glad it's finally Friday, had an evening round of golf scheduled but was told we had a last minute opening for baseball practice so I'll be coaching the boys up tonight and golfing tomorrow! Also, over 12,000 signups for the L.A.B. testing is insane! Gotta make the mods feel good when there's that much interest in their tests!

I have yet to find a pair of spikeless that fit my huge feet, and sadly I'm having trouble finding a pair of spiked that fit me now as it has been seven years since I've bought new shoes.

I use a Vessel Lux XV cart bag 95% of the time. Had them put my college golf team's logo on the ball pocket and I love it. This picture has some older clubs from two years ago when I got the bag but it's the only picture I have of it.

I wanted Tyree Wilson from Texas Tech but when he went #7 I was happy with either Bijan or Jalen Carter. Allgeier is solid enough that we can not overwork Bijan like the Rams did with Gurley. Pitts, London, and Bijan is exciting. I think we'll pick up a solid WR and some defense and be trending up. More than anything I'm looking forward to my friends Najee Thompson and Amare Jones having their name called. The Vikings, Jaguars, and Raiders have all been in contact, looking like it'll be around 5th to 6th round. Can't wait!

Aw man, I saw you commented and I was getting excited to read how your Golf Galaxy experience went! A 7 wood is something I've never hit, that's interesting!

Another thing I'm interested in is how you guys feel about the full face grooves that some of the wedges have. I've always thought it was a cool idea for wedges that you open up since the toe is more in play. Curious to see if anyone thinks they're seeing benefits from it or not.

I have pretty much always played Mizuno irons until my recent set just to try something out. I've had MP32, MP59, JPX 919 Tour, JPX 921 Forged and Tour, and almost ordered the Mizuno Pro 223's but went Srixon instead.

I've heard a lot of good about the TGI, I look forward to hearing your thoughts on them. I currently have the PGI in my hybrids, really liking it so far.

I am very excited for the draft! We have three buddies of ours off the team that have shots at getting drafted. I was texting two of them last week and they are hearing from the Jaguars, Raiders, and Vikings that they are looking at drafting them. It'll be on the back end of the draft but really hoping we hear their names called!

Good to know. The only upcharge shaft I would have wanted would be in the irons and that's so important to me I probably would have paid to have mine reshafted once they came in. I have been using the same shaft for years and every time I try to get fitted into new irons that's the shaft we keep coming back to. Thanks for the response!

All these fittings happening are getting me pumped up! I could have missed it somewhere, but are they letting you choose upcharge shafts or do you have to stick with the standard ones?

This is totally me. Ever since I found out about these I've been trying to get on and work or life have just flat out told me no. Hoping this is the week, but we're having storms here and that makes work hectic so I don't know if I can take my break whenever I want to now.

Good morning! (I'm late again) Still raining here so no golf for me, but I do get to go hang out with my nephew tonight which is always a blast! We just celebrated him turning 9 years old last night with his first experience of eating lobster and he loved it. @CFreddie and @sirchunksalot I hope y'all have a good fitting experience, can't wait to hear about it later!

While I appreciate the photos they've started doing, it almost makes it worse. It's one thing knowing you have something waiting on you, but seeing it there? Definitely makes the itch stronger, haha. Curious to see the results on this test!
