  1. This is a great idea from @cnosil Plus you would get to meet a fellow spy!
  2. In order to use the parallel.370 smac wraps you would either need to ream the hosel of the pings to .370 or sand down the tip of the shafts to fit the .355t hosel. If going this route I recommend reaming the hosel vs sanding the graphite shaft but you may get answers both ways. Parallel shafts are .370 for a specific potion of the tip of the shaft before getting bigger. This allows manufacturers to use the same shaft in the same length multiple times by trimming it to get the desired length and flex for each iron head.
  3. If you are gonna order through ust, I would give them a call. The website says taper tip available upon request.
  4. @DGA3 this is what you need to be looking for. The Ping g425’s require a .355t tip shaft. As mentioned above the tipping recommendation is for .370 parallel tip shafts.
  5. Gonna drop the price a little as well as do heads only. Also adding Srixon ZX5/ZX7 to the trade list Shafts only $150 Heads Only $old Not gonna bore ya with a long story here. When my game is on these are AMAZING but when I’m off, we’ll you can use your imagination. The minute I saw these in person I wanted them. Too bad my eyes are not in sync with my abilities lol. Id prefer to trade these with PayPal/Venmo starting their 1099 this year. Trades below but will listen to cash offers as well. Money can be added to make any trade work either way. Trades: Mizuno 225 Mizuno 223 Cobra Forged Tec 2022 Callaway Rogue ST Pro PXG Gen5 T black Srixon ZX5/ZX7 Hollow Body sets Here they are in all their glory. Ping I59’s with very little use. I bought them shop worn online and the seller shipped them in a box with hardly any protection. As such there are some marks but not real dings. I have hit them 3 9-hole sim rounds and a few practice/warm up swings. Standard black dot and standard loft. They are shafted with Project X LZ 5.0 hard stepped once. Length pictured is the 4-iron. The shafts were bought 5-GW +.5”. I didn’t pull the grip and trim the PW therefore it is the same length as the 9 iron. The ferrules are decent but could use a touch up if your anal about them. Since I need a price let’s do $900obo shipped to the conus.
  6. Aright guys here is a little intro. I appreciate all the congratulations everyone. This is gonna be a fun journey. Hello all my name is Mark Kramer aka blackngold_blood aka trade master BNG aka fantasy guru but now better known as Golfspy_BNG. I am 42 years old and live in north central Iowa in a small town called Wesley. My full time job as a HVAC Technician takes up a good portion of my time especially during the winter months. When I’m not working my life is full of MyGolfSpy, Fantasy Sports, Golf, and the most beautiful woman in the world. Why she sank to my level is baffling but I’m sure glad she did. I also have a daughter that is currently finishing up her junior year in college. Alright enough of that stuff. I’m super pumped to join the MGS Forum team. As Jamie mentioned we both have a view that along with testing, building the bst into something better could be big for the forum. It’s no secret that of the 3 forums I am a member of MGS is probably 3rd in ranking. That has picked up as of late but we are still well behind number 1. I’d love to build it into something no other forum offers and put current #1 in the rear view mirror. I will also help the Mods in anyway I can to make their lives on the forum easier Id like to close by letting ever know that my inbox is always open. Whether suggestions, questions, or just to chat. As many already know I’m always willing to help anyway I can. Even when it comes to my massively competitive ego in fantasy sports. Lol
  7. This driver is $100 cheaper than TM/Cally/Titleist and $50 cheaper than Cobra/Ping. While not drastic that helps and if you can get the same performance for slightly cheaper to me that’s a win. Now I haven’t seen these in person or hit them but I’ll go on record now saying if I can get the same performance out of these as others, I’m all in baby!
  8. As a Mizuno iron fanboy, would you consider the driver if it performs equal to the others? Honest question and not trying to call ya out or anything. I have always thought Mizuno drivers were amazing looking(since they went black with 190) but they spun too much for me. If all else is equal(spin/ball speed/dispersion), I buying the Mizuno over other brands just in looks.
  9. Thanks guys. I will do a proper intro this afternoon after work but I’m so excited to be a part of the team and help anyway possible to keep growing the best forum on the net!
  10. I really hope these perform as I think Mizuno drivers have been some of the best looking drivers since the 190 series.
  11. You can also buy a green dot adapter and use the greens dot cogs in a regular one. I have done this before as I didn’t want to pull the other adapter.
  12. I don’t think it has been finalized just yet. They just renewed the league today I believe.
  13. I found the video. About the 6:40 mark JW says the green dot adapter starts about .5* strong then adjust 2* from there.
  14. I love this topic. Good thinking Joe. Postives: I will try any Driver with a deep face. My miss has always been up/down and deeper faces just work(although the g430 lst is definitely shallow faced) Full face wedges. Love me some grooves all over the face. I prefer to carry just a 50* wedge and use it for everything. I’m in the camp of mastering 1 wedge. Srixon fairway woods. They just work for me when others don’t. I will always give Callaway drivers the nod if all numbers are equal. Deeper faces and the shaft stays oriented. I will try almost anything if it looks good to my eye and don’t have many Oem biases. Sik and Evnroll putters are the best in the biz for me. Negatives: Yes I know I currently game Ping I59’s but that little cutout at the back of the hosel bugs the bejeebus out of me lol Not really bias but annoyance for those that only buy limited edition equipment to flip it for a quick buck. Yes I get it is how it is but as far as I’m concerned if you have zero interest in collecting or using the item then I hope you end up eating that money. And no amount of discussion will change my mind!!! Any equipment that uses gold/yellow and combines it with Red!!!! Those colors don’t go together in my book!
  15. BNG division invites have been sent. If you didn’t get them please let me know
  16. The deeper face always has my attention and I think the look great. I grew up on Wilson and Lynx so always nice to see them so well
  17. BNG division be on the lookout for invites later this evening.
  18. Awesome. I thought I remember a video where you mentioned the green dot adapter starts .5* less in standard. Must have been imaging that one lol
  19. It appears as a stock option for the triple Diamond but is a $250 cost for the TR Blue 6 on callaways website when preordering.
  20. If a sale happens after you purchase but it’s still in your return window they will give you PXG credit for the difference. Requires you to buy something else but it’s better than nothing.
  21. The red dot(flat) and green dot(-2*) were Tour only for a while. I believe they are being made available retail now.
