  1. Let’s do special pricing for my fellow spies $200 Up for sale or trade is my Mizuno ST-G 220 9* head. Comes with headcover. Also comes with an extra 7g weight. There is swirl marks on the head when up close but I could not see them at address. Pics should show what I mean. Let’s do $290obo for my fellow spies shipped to the conus Trades would be for other recent driver heads in low loft.
  2. Here is another possibly untrue sentence trying to be stated as fact. Those 2 heads could have different lofts, lies, face angles, ct, and even cg locations.
  3. I 100% dont believe you. You tell people not to go by what others say but then go and talk about the president of a company and a shaft company that you agree with. That’s hypocrisy. You can’t have it both ways. If nobody else can use what others say, then keep what others have done and said out your mouth as well. I’ll go with several well respected people over the President of a company, 1 shaft company, and a guy claiming test results.
  4. Hypocrisy at its finest. You cant use what shaft companies say, do your own testing but go look and read tpt’s test results cuz I agree with them! Enough is enough
  5. I knew what you were saying and agree with the premise. I was merely trying to point out that knockoff isn’t the right word for those grips imo.
  6. To be fair Saplize and Champkey aren’t knockoffs of Golf Pride. They are lesser quality(in my experience) and cheaper but Golf Pride isn’t even the original Multi Compound grip. It’s no different than another putter company making an Anser or Spider style putter. They aren’t knockoffs but that companies version of said product.
  7. Using current eBay prices. Could get lower if using golf forums. Mizuno ST190 9* Speeder Evo II $153+tax Srixon F85 5 wood Hzrdus $130+ tax Sub70 699 pro black 4-PW PX shafts $440+ tax Cleveland Zipcore Full Face 50* $122+ tax Odyssey Tuttle Stroke Lab Putter $100+ tax Thats $945 plus tax for 11 clubs that I could play(2 I already do) without skipping a beat. If you really searched I bet that could get below $900 all in easily.
  8. I agree on Srixon fairways. I have had a F85 5 wood in my bag for 3 years now I believe. Longest time a club has ever stayed for me. As long as any 3 wood I had tested/played before it. Picked up a matching 3 wood this year and it finally filled my gap between driver and 5 wood. I have always struggled with fairway woods but these are money. Explosive feel, massive distance for me, and can be had cheap nowadays. Haven’t tried the new zx models yet but can’t see anyway they are worth the extra money over the 85 models. I think Cleveland/Srixon really has something with the hibore crown
  9. It’s 34.5” long but I will be cutting it down to 33” as that is where I’m currently at with my other putter. I thought about armlock but I’d like to try one in store before making that leap.
  10. One showed up last night and the other today! Huge shout out to @rkj427 for the headcover. 2ndSwing described the Sik as MINT but I would call it excellent. There is definitely signs of use and to me mint means it looks like it hasn’t been hit. Still more than happy with it though so I’ll quit the yelling at the cloud for now lol. It has a heavier head than most blade putters I’m guessing at 370g but I think coming from mallet putters this is the perfect weight for me. Another interesting part was Sik says the slant neck is half shaft offset but this looks to be at least 3/4. I do really like the curved high toe look. Can’t wait to get this to the practice green tomorrow if it isn’t raining.
  11. I ended up selling it a while ago. Currently rocking a Diamana ZF
  12. Alright I was just gonna sit back and read but feel the need to post now. Swingweight and balance point are absolutely related. Your swingweight scale is using an alphanumeric scale to tell you where the balance point is for the club being measured. It uses the alphanumeric scale instead of a percentage scale to make it easier and faster to measure but it is still a percentage of the total length of the club. That number represents the balance point. While @Thin2win may have the wrong number with 29.5 (I’m assuming here as I haven’t seen that number used anywhere) his point is still valid. It’s the reason why counterbalanced shafts have a balance point of over 23” from the tip of a raw 46” shaft. The extra weight in the butt end moves the balance point closer to the grip making the head/tip end feel lighter and swing weight lower. For those reading this. From everything I have read and understand: Swingweight is used to get the balance point of all your clubs(or however many you choose to do) to the same percentage of the length. Now as far as lighter faster farther goes, it was something that oems used as marketing to try to sell distance. It is no different than jacking lofts or lengthening the club. Some guys will swing lighter clubs faster, others won’t. Nothing works for everyone and just because it didn’t work for you doesn’t make it wrong or the oems wrong for trying to market it that way. If you really want to learn, read everything you can find on a subject, get fit or experiment for yourself, and then make a decision.
  13. Dang gotta find one of those and a towel. They look better than the spy ones to me.
  14. I seen a pic of the one from 2010 but nothing recent. I may take this opportunity to get a custom one made. I’ve never done that before so gonna have to look around.
  15. Yeah I was looking at those. Didn’t see any others where there different ones before?
  16. On a side not gotta get a headcover for it. Anyone know if the blade MGS cover is Velcro or magnetic?
  17. Never rolled one but did have a cobra stingray with the defending loft tech and it out a beautiful roll on the ball. I’m hoping the heavier weight of the Jo will help (even if slightly) the transition from a mallet to a blade. I’ve been practicing with an old Ping TI2 so it shouldn’t be too hard.
  18. Hopefully (for my marriage’s sake) this is the last big purchase for a while. Lol. Picked up a mint Sik Jo slant neck putter from 2ndSwing.
  19. Hit the ST-G tonight. Didn’t get on Trackman but hit on the same Full Swing Simulator. Same ball as last time but different shaft. My ZF hadn’t cured in time. Huge difference from the Rogue TD. Ball speed was up quite a bit. Didn’t get a pic as my phone died but a 162 average is something I’ll take. When I centered one I was seeing 164-166 and only had 3 that dropped below 160. Being able to set it to lower on the hosel opened it up for me as well as the 3rd weight(7g) in the toe. I was also seeing spin in the low to mid 2000’s which was nice. Although that could be from the loft differences. Neither digitally measured so anything is possible. Really thinking about getting another Rogue TD to see if it was just and issue with that specific head.
  20. Got the ST-G driver today and first impressions are that it has a shallower face and bigger footprint than I expected but nothing that is off putting. Set to lower (6.75*/5* open) is without a doubt more open than the TD. The headshape(face depth and footprint shape) definitely go to the TD for me. So that’s 1-1 so far. Hoping to get on the simulator/Trackman this weekend to check ball speed and dispersion.
  21. I just got a ST-G 220 to try out. Those numbers are from center strike via ball mark on face. I also play my driver at 44.75” normally. Anything over 45” and I’m all over the face. I never seem to get comfortable with 70g shafts for some reason.
  22. Going off memory right now Swing Speed 110-113 Ball Speed 155(best) Launch 13-15* Spin 2400
  23. I was getting good numbers with the Diamana ZF 50TX except ball speed. Feel was perfect with the shaft. Loaded just right and I was finding center face really well. It’s possible I just got a head on the lower end of the tolerances as centered contact and 110-113ss was only getting me 155bs. Not on me. But cliff notes above
  24. I have lower the loft with a green dot adapter and it was still closed to my eye. I know the lefts are swing related but my biggest concern was ball speed being lower than normal for me even on centered hits.
