My question is why was Wilco Nienaber apparently granted an exemption from the DP Tour to go to Portland to be an alternate for the LIV event? I don’t know the whole story and honestly haven’t looked into it much but that seems strange for him to get one but the other guys are suspended/banned.

I played one for a bit last year. It’s as long as anything I’ve hit. The AV center was not the easiest thing to get over for me. For the price it will be tough to beat I think.

They have been granted a temporary stay on appeal. I’m assuming that means once their appeal is heard they will either be banned or back on tour. This seems similar to other athletes being able to play until their appeal is heard. I’m guessing this process last until at least the end of the FedEx or Race to Dubai but who knows

The TB now has a TM tip on it!! The ZF no longer has a Mizuno adapter on it!!!!!!!! Final price drops Diamana TB $200 Diamana ZF $65 St190 $50 Package $275 Balls $old Im open to a trade for an 8* stealth plus head or TSI2/3 8*for the driver and shafts and would prefer to trade the Diamond balls for some 2022 avx’s just don’t tell the wife lol. 1st up is a package deal. Not looking to split unless I’m wowed by an offer. My backup Mizuno ST190 9.5* head in ok shape. There are brush marks on the sole, sandy splash marks on the face, and a slight sky mark on the crown. It isn’t noticeable for me at address but is there. Also included is a Diamana ZF 50TX shaft. It is untipped to my knowledge but there is just over a 1” extension in the butt end. There are also marks on the shaft by the tip and grip. Now the show stopper of the package. A Diamana TB 50s playing 45.25”. This is in amazing shape and untipped to my knowledge as well. There is a loose piece of epoxy in the shaft but I didn’t want to cut the CPX grip off so I left it. I can include a couple Karma brand tour velvet grips if the buyer is interested. This will come with a white Mizuno cover and a black one. Looking to do $300obo shipped to the conus for the whole package. Next is 2 dozen +2 Srixon Z Star Diamond balls. 8 of the balls are out of the package but are new. They just sat in my bag for a couple rounds. I would prefer to trade these for a couple dozen 2022 Titleist AVX balls if possible but since I need a price let’s do $90obo.

Well I decided to try it today and it actually didn’t play too bad. Had a couple snap hooks but I’m guessing that was more swing related. Gonna give it another go tomorrow and see what happens. I was playing a different course today so hard to get a read with distances. Tomorrow I play my normal course so should have a better read on it. The real surprise today was the P790’s. They felt so good and meet a nice middle ground between a super thin top line and the thicker 699 pros. The reminder strips were a bad idea. I have small hands and prefer to put grips on without any tape to help with size. That isn’t possible with the strips and it lets the air out. I will give it a few more rounds to see if I like the idea of them then will probably go the align route. Also not thrilled with the Z Star Diamonds. Prefer the AVX so will probably try to trade my 2+ dozen for some 2022 AVX’s.

Hopefully this thread is showing the OP that there is no one way to hit shots in this game and score well. Pick a way that suits your game and practice it. Also having confide in knowing you will pull off the shot you are trying to hit is a big factor as well

I can’t say for 100% on the 2022 line but I believe I read on WRX the JT model is .395 so I would guess the 2022 5.5 would be the same.

Ok I got the lecture today. Apparently last night while not being able to sleep but still unbelievably tired I bought another driver shaft I don’t need. Lol. Gotta sell one and curb the spree. I said I was sorry and didn’t realize I did it until this morning but for some reason she didn’t believe me.

They have only officially suspended them from joint events with the pga as of now. If they play in the next event there could be more.

There are lots of good advice here. Im now a firm believer in 1 wedge for all pitch and chips. Like anything practice is key. I picked up a Cleveland Zipcore 50* full face wedge and use it for everything including sand traps. I have always considered wedge play to be my saving grace and since going this route it’s even better. I simply adjust face angle, ball placement, and swing length for the type of shot I need to hit.

Bought a Diamana TB 50s shaft a couple days ago. Don’t need it and quite frankly already have buyers remorse. Hasn’t even arrived yet lol. Oh well such is the life of a club ho.
