  1. Congrats guys and great intros @Bucky CC and @GolfSpy AFG Consider me one of the members really interested in this one. And should any F-3 testers decide they can’t complete the review, I have a very close personal relationship with someone that would gladly help out by taking over!
  2. Got in a little more work today. Really happy I’m starting to get the settings closer to what I see on course. I did have an issue with face impact not reading half the shots. It didn’t seem to effect shot tracking though as it registered every shot just no face impact info so that’s good. I did run into an issue of my e6 simulator liscense say that my 15 day trial expired which is crazy as I thought it came free with 10 courses for the Mevo Plus. Thought maybe it was because I was switching between the iPad and iPhone but found the email came before I switched over. Hoping my email to CS will get me straightened out. Here is the data from today. Still in awe of it all. Here are some shots where I was trying to achieve 170 ball speed. These were as close as I could get. Shot 1 Shot 2
  3. I’m gonna connect mine to my tv for now so I can see the ball flight and numbers easier. I put the permanent home sim build on hold until fall as we have a bunch of mini vacations planned with some weddings and what not coming up this summer.
  4. You really are Mark. I can’t believe the difference it made. Even fills my tv screen better lol
  5. It’s funny cuz I thought there was a ton of data on my phone but once it’s on the iPad and all in 1 screen it gets more noticeable. One thing I noticed with the face impact, heat map, and data is the heat map doesn’t show you where you hit it the most but where you get the best ball speeds. Or maybe that’s just a coincidence More testing to be done
  6. Almost forgot this one too. Once I got it calibrated my smash factor and spin seemed better.
  7. Well I had lots of Mevo time planned but ran into a couple snags. First I couldn’t get the iPad to download the hdmi accessory so I couldn’t see anything on my tv. So I finally gave up on that and then wouldn’t you know the mevo died. lol. I did get in a good chunk of swings though. Played with the radar settings, environment settings, and calibration settings of the face impact and managed to get some closer to normal numbers for me. Even managed to see my normal flight a few times I was able to really concentrate on my swing mechanics. Here is a few screen shots.
  8. Got my iPad today. Got a ton of Mevo plus time planned for this weekend. After the wife and I do some grocery shopping and a lunch date. Really hoping to nail down the distance issues.
  9. This has been discussed before but our new update disabled our classified section. We are working on getting it fixed and will hopefully have a solution soon.
  10. You can change the order of the data metrics to whatever you want.
  11. Also a note on ball flight. I grabbed a few old balls and hit some outside. Apparently with my setup I have developed a fade swing as that’s exactly what it showed and what I saw. I think it’s in my head if I follow through correctly I will hit the pole of the cage causing me to short arm my follow through.
  12. Got some swings in today between having to work. Used my work android tablet cuz the face impact doesn’t allow for calibration on phones due to screen size. Still going through the info
  13. Congrats Norm! As has been mentioned already, you are a valued member here. Here is to another few thousand posts.
  14. Looks like I’m gonna be picking up an iPad cuz the face impact calibration doesn’t work on phones
  15. Basically they have a special mat that takes data on how you use the ground when swing the club. They then use that data to fit you into one of their shafts. A really neat concept.
  16. Jason I find it completely unthinkable that you are anything but it nice! Hahaha
  17. Definitely better to take it slow than just pound balls quickly. I never hit more than 3-5 shots when practicing without take a small quick break(no more than a minute). When playing round by myself I always take the time at the beginning of each hole to think how I wanna play it then re-evaluate after the tee shot. I wanna be able to hit a groove with my swing but also be able to mimic it on the course. Even playing by yourself with a cart you probably got a good couple minutes between shots.
  18. I’d suggest Flightscope themselves. Unless buying used it’s always smart to go through an authorized dealer especially for any warranty things that may arise.
  19. I went to the baseball grip a few years ago while working to correct my slice. The grip didn’t necessarily help my slice but after a few swings it felt more comfortable. It has also allowed me to get a slightly stronger left hand while keeping my right hand closer to neutral. Made a big difference in my consistency. I’ve messed around going back to the interlock and even the overlap but I either get too strong with the right or weaker with the left and I start push fading everything.
  20. @GolfSpy_BEN and @Michael.Sandoval33 great intros! Never apologize or worry about the handicap. Like I tell my dad, as long as you are enjoying yourself, keeping to protocols/traditions, and courteous of your fellow golfers, the end score really doesn’t matter.
