  1. Guess this means I should go pick up that membership and get out on the course a little sooner then expected. I'm defintely in.
  2. What is very likely is there were offers that included players who ended up being dropped during the waiver process and therefore were no longer available which then cancelled the offers. That is what I would put money on.
  3. I have blank, but I don't currently have any offers out and no incoming offers. I know I checked when I got notification that there was a trade accepted, but as soon as its executed it no longer shows in Pending and then is in transaction history.
  4. Congrats @Undershooterand thanks MGS for putting on this contest! Was awesome to follow along and take part in.
  5. The Masters Week Recap! What a week! Congrats to Matsuyama on a classy win and a solid final round to really not give anyone a chance. (I'm still watching the replay as it was too late for me to stay up having to be up at 5am). Really happy to see him come through with the win, however its Fantasy land that we are in and here is our weekly breakdown. High Score Team of the Week goes to @Berg Rymanwith a stellar 254.45. He was lead by Spieth, Leishman, Finau and Webb Simpson. A strong performance to say the least having 6 players on his team make the top 25. He was followed closely by @Undershooter who had 249.1 points, but he won the pool so can't take home all the awards this week! Keeping on the 200 list, we had 10 teams crack the 200 barrier in a huge week and our League median at a 3rd toughest week at 157.07 (more to come from them shortly). So a quick congrats to cracking 200 to all those teams. We also have a tie atop the standings! Our season long leaders are now tied a top the standings and here is our top 10 so far through 11 weeks. We are starting to see some bigger gaps and fewer teams within the 10 wins, the next few weeks will be critical and very telling for several teams. Also here rounds out our weekly undefeated teams. The cut line at 35 is also seeing a bit of a gap compared to last week, however we still have Spot 54 within 10 spots of the cut line. Meaning there are very few if any teams that are not still in it. Despite being below .500 lots of time left. For reference I was outside the playoffs last season at the Covid Break and had a team come out on fire post break winning a few weeks and making up ground to end up in the Top 10 come playoffs, so if things seem bleak there is still very much a chance! With 16 weeks left we are nearing the half way point in the season and there will be some big decisions to make for some teams. There was only one trade made last week, in a quiet lead up to The Masters where I would expect to see a lot more movement after this Major with teams getting a good idea of where they stand. Now onto the close matchups of the week. I would normaly only pick out 1 or 2 however this being a Major we will add in a few more. League Median made a few spots and matches just way too close. There were a ton of Matches within 2 points which made for a incredible week. The following are some highlighted one that truly could have gone either way. Having matches that are within .05 of eachtoher is amazing, heartbreaking and potentially big come playoff time. Also to have 2 matches of above 200 points be as close as they were is another amazing feat. To those on the winning side, keep that lucky charm close and to those on the opposite side that is the rub of the green and maybe next time it will break your way! Few quick other notes: Only 1 undefeated team owned Hideki which was @Rwagn4The rest had some sort of Zalatoris, Rahm or Spieth showing it certainly pays to have top players, however not a must to have the winner to go undefeated in a week. Top Waiver Wire Player available was Robert Macintyre with 48.55 points on the week. He was owned by only 2 teams and that point total was good for 13th best on the week. To finish off the week our Top Fantasy Points scored (what would be top teams based of last years format) so far teams are as follows. (I think this shows that are system of matches is working overall with top teams being rewarded despite the fewere matches) Our Hard Luck teams with the most points scored against here With that we are onto the RBC Heritage, seems like a good field and a good amount of carry over from the Masters. That being said many top players will not be attending so a battle of team depth. Cheers all and hope everyone enjoyed a great Masters and a great week of MGS Fantasy Golf!
  6. Think there is a good point here. There are some of us who love the aspects of trading and shuffling our teams around as a big part of our fantasy golf or sporting experience. Most all of us try to think out trades and to make them that are generally fair for both sides as much as possible. However we cannot know how you value players outside of the OWGR or so on. With that if there are players you do not wish to trade use the comment section in the decline stating you may want to hold the player or believe they are worth more or something of the sorts, helps both sides and if you don't want to make any trades simply say so. Nothing wrong with just prefering to hold tight with the roster you have and if that is the case it is easy to make it known via the comment sections of trades or even by updating your Trade Block. Anyway happy Masters Sunday and trading all!
  7. Thats a good point, but this helps keep me invested and more into certain sports. Plus living in CET timezone a lot of live coverage is in the middle of the night and I have to be up most days by 5am or 6am so there is little chance of me watching late at night. The different Fantasy leagues certainly help me keep up with many of those sports. However the Masters and their coverage has been great so far!
  8. Between this and Fantasy its stressful watching! Riding on nearly every shot which has a big effect and although I think I am a little too far back in this, I have a few guys that still can make a good event of it.
  9. Will not part with English, but taking offers? Sorry I will likely make a offer but am a little confused on the post.
  10. All 7 made the cut, this is what this team is built for! Now hope to have a few outside of JS to catch fire on the weekend to push me past Steve2100 who has Rose and Kim leading his team. Not sure we will see anyone crack 200(0) given the conditions, however Rhyming Bergs is set up the best going into the weekend! Who was your biggest suprise so far (player at the masters)? Good or bad?
  11. I would but need to wait for the weekend to play out. Team looks solid overall at the moment and as much as I want JT I don't think I would be willing to give up enough to get him. Unless Rory is on the cheap? (just saw him go bunker to bunker)
  12. I will keep doing the non dominant swings. Not only do I like seeing the progress, but I feel it helps with my overall flexibility and rhythm. I do tend to do fewer kneeling swings and fewer step changes and keep to regular swings.
  13. I wish we had My Group for every tournament. Makes it so much easier to track and watch the guys who are relevent to your team and pools and so on. Such a great feature! Dropped Wolff from my watchlist... has so much talent but seems very sooky.
  14. 18 Teams did not pick Spieth...There are 82 Teams entered.
  15. Course looks tough! Firm greens and some big bounces going to be a long week for them if they keep it this way!
  16. After Hovlands triple I'm okay with it not updating for a little while to give him a chance at a few birdies.
  17. What was the harder pool to pick from 4 or 5?
  18. Done and done... Yes I will be quite surprised if anyone doesn't pick you know who.
  19. Was really hoping to add Wolff to my roster at somepoint and had that version of him as my most likely trade candidate. Grr.
  20. It's okay, he may have his fab 5 right now but we all know there are going to be 25 more trades that he will make so it's very unlikely his roster will be the same come playoffs!
  21. Waivers did run on time so to speak, for me its 7:00am Tuesday morning or 2:00am EST. As for how it works, it seemed to work as I wanted for mine. I ended up with 13 claims just in case and go my 2nd. I had Westwood as priority 1 with a 7 dollar bid and got blown out of the water by gobama at 37! FABB. I'm not sure why it that would have happened for you especially with them still being available. I partially wonder if even when using the priority list, but having several at 0 bid if it bogs up the system a bit especially with so many teams potentially bidding at a 0 mark as well?
  22. Will be interesting see how many people are picked up this week. I have 7 waiver bids in to ensure I get at least 1 guy, but certainly not an amazing selection available. Just happy teams are more or less filled now and we can start seeing the true potential of teams... not that you have been suffering leading the league in points scored and players owned!
  23. The site is good, but it takes some digging to get use to it and find all the info in some cases. We have a unique scoring system as well which is likely why there is the difference between Live and Matchups. Its much like the draft setup, if you leave it as default often it will be based on current standings before the season has really started. Not a perfect system, but some searching around and looking through the different options available and there is a ton of good information that can be found.
  24. Go to Standings then select Results (it defaults to Regular Season). Then select your team, this will bring up the whole schedule of your matchups each week so go to the bottom and you'll see Valero Texas Open.
