  9. I've always really enjoyed Peter Finch. Seems very down to earth and has some great content. Also loves Golfholics footage and they seem to just have a lot of fun with what they are doing. I'm sure there are many more out there that are great and I can't wait to watch some of the ones listed above. Hard to get too much good golfing content Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. Demo day purchase...surprised this was all I walked away with, but they didn't have any lefty epic drivers so until next time! Now time to hit the range and see what this puppy can do!
  11. Record high today here in Halifax with 22! Best part is all the courses are in great shape and looking to stay open much longer then normal! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  12. Not really looking at anything in particular, but the local shop is having their demo sale Thursday so I know I'm bound to come home with something...could be a new big stick or that tweener club between my 4 iron and 3 wood. The last would be getting some clubs regripped for start of next season. Either way I know I will end up coming home with something new! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. I definitely know the feeling. Even though my bag is really well set up and I am comfortable with nearly every club in the bag I am always looking to change and or improve. I love the look of the cobra forged tec irons and the mizuno mp 25s. Both sets are irons I've always been fans of, but it's hard to argue the results of my ping irons.A new big stick will make its way in sooner rather then later, just need to go to a fitter and really take the time to get into the right club.
  14. Update coming soon! Just awaiting a few arrivals. Not so much a complete new bag more of a alternative setup Depending on a few swing changes! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  15. I have a set of well used ping i irons. They are still in pretty decent shape over all. I just have trouble not looking into newer shinier things!I truly do love the ping irons, but I miss that softer feel of a forged iron. Again it's really not a need and most definitely a want.
  16. Thanks for the reply. My gut is telling me just to go for it! Even though my season is winding to a close and it's likely I won't be able to put them in play till sometime in October or next season...decisions decisions. What irons were you using previously?
  17. It's not needed, but I'm definitely thinking about a set of mizuno mp-25s. I've always loved them and hit them well and there are some great deals on them now that it's nearing seasons end, but just don't know if I actually need them. I play well with my current irons, but I can't get these out of my head! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  18. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one and thank you! It's a tough track that I've only played once in October. The August air should definitely help the ball carry further!
  19. Not sure if someone has ranted about this before and it's not a huge deal, but I work in a pro shop at a local course and unfortunately we don't have a online booking system so all tee times have to be called in. I spend a lot of time on the phone! Anyway here is an example that drives me when ppl call. Me: good morning .... what time roughly were you looking golfing? Customer: right around 10am? Me: I have 9:58! Customer: oh...that's too early do you have anything later? Then they end up going at around 10:30. It happens so often and I know it's small, but when we have the phone ringing as often as we do for bookings it's such a waste of time! And for me I don't care when they go out in just happy they are out on the course! So give me as close to the exact time and I'll do everything I can to accommodate that. But really it's 2 minutes! 20. Anyone ever have one of those day where they literally could barely hit a ball? That was me yesterday and oddly enough it was about the 3rd times it's happened at the same range. This season I haven't done a lot of range time as between working and playing at the course I've got ample rounds and practice in but the other day I figured it would be good to just go work on some wedges and get some distances dialled in the new glide wedges I just got...except I could barely make contact with a full swing. Hozel rockets all around, I couldn't help but laugh. I haven't hit a bad shot like that in a lot of rounds and it didn't really matter the club I took I couldn't make solid contact on a full swing. Part of me thinks it was the matts or who knows. Anyway took a day off today and playing tomorrow guess I'll have to wait and see what shows up! Fingers crossed Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
