  1. I have no idea. Why don't you buy one and bring it to the outing on Sunday and wear it on the range. we'll let you know!!
  2. Glad you at least found out what it was and got treatment for it. $60 that's a poke in the eye...sorry couldn't' resist
  3. Boy ain't that the truth!! We have our 40th year reunion coming up this summer, so there's been a group of them posting in a group thread. Some I wouldn't have recognized if they were standing right in front of me, others haven't changed a damn bit. The guy that was our star QB and PG, looks like he could go out right now and score 30 points or throw 5 touchdowns. Some people hit the genetic lottery that's for sure.
  4. HA HA!! I'm in my 50's and was talking to a friend even a few years older a couple months back. We said we both picture ourselves looking like and able to do things we did at 20. Then we look in the mirror and say, "Where the hell did that old guy come from" LOL Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. Wow..that doesn't sound good OG. Michelle had a very similar thing a couple months ago and had no luck self treating, she ended up getting some cream from the DR. and also told her to put a cold compress on it for a few minutes a couple times a day. It got better in about 5 days. Good luck buddy!!
  6. Obviously Im not speaking on behalf of MGS, just my observations. I think it has a lot more to do than just the number of your posts. Heck any of the people who only post as a testing entry, could have close to a hundred if they have been doing that a while. I think it is more than a number, it's members that participates across all threads, starts threads, has meaningful insight and questions. Sure it's nice to welcome all the new members and I think a lot of us do a great job at that. I guess my point is, to those who it comes naturally to participate, might get more of a look, than someone just posting to get numbers. I feel you. I had a 2006 Toyota Highlander with 196,000 miles on it, until it got totaled last spring. I had just had the second timing belt replaced at close to $900, but I knew it likely would have run another 50,000 or so after that. I hate making car payments, but find myself back doing it now. I have a 2016 Camry, and its' nice. But I really really miss my Highlander, it had become such a big part of my day the past 10 years, as I often commuted over 1 hour each way during that time. Just look at it like, you should be good to go for another 60 K or so. Well there is that timing belt thing that comes up every 90,000 miles
  7. So true to both of those OG and MD!! Lots of great people and lots of great testing. if I had been in the position to commit to those PINGS over the next month to two months, I would have jumped all over that testing, but maybe next time. As one thing is for sure, testing opportunities around here are like buses, there's always another one coming just down the road.
  8. That's a pretty good reason. I love the fact that so many of the new members that have joined in the past month or two are getting active in lots of different threads. Great to see and has led to some really good topics and conversations of late!1
  9. 50 yard wedge shots. See Know Your Wedge Distance thread. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  10. Nope not the wedges. Ordered them stock. I've never been fit for wedges. After reading a few different threads here the past two days. That was just dumb. I may be going to Carlsbad this summer. If so I'll make an appoitment to do so. As a result there may be a deal on 3 SM6's in the classifieds. Ha Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  11. I had not heard that, but now it makes me wonder. When I do miss with my wedges, it's usually left (right handed) I wonder if them not being flat plays into that. All my irons are extra length and upright, but my wedges are stock length and lie. I just bought 3 of them last year. I almost hate to go have a wedge fitting now, and find out they should be longer, flatter would be ok, as that can be done easily.
  12. As TheWahoo often says, "A man has to know his limits" Or Kenny Rogers "you've got to know when to walk away and when to run" 😎 Sent from my LG-D850 using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  13. Today? That's a shame, it's been too long since we've played there.
  14. Wow. I couldn't imagine being at the end of April and still waiting to play golf. If we go much past mid March here, people start getting angry. Ha Sent from my LG-D850 using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  15. Anyone that does, doesn't have to ask what rhe acronym stands for. Ha
  16. I hope packing is the rant part of that and not Disney!! Sent from my LG-D850 using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  17. Yeah. Fortunately when I showed my boss the email as I'm sure he will here about it, he read it laughed told me a story of him doing the same thing. But then said it does give you that "Oh Sh!%" moment. Ha Yes you do know the peer and are probably correct in your guess. Good ideal on the hitting balls at the range. Hope it went well. 18. One of those days I should have stayed in bed. Today I did the following: Sent an email to a vendor that I had meant to send to someone internally about said vendor 😱 Pretty much told a peer at work he wasn't doing his job and should take it more seriously. Only to get the Stink Eye in return 😈 Got lit up by a player when I tried very politkeu to explain that he might not finish 18 holes at twilight. That was the reason it's $15 cheaper at 3:00 than 1:00. Only to be called every name in the book and be told by him that I had probably just run off 6 years of business. 😭 Well tomorrow is another day. Sent from my LG-D850 using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  19. People that expect to get cost of living pay increases, but complain when you raise your prize minimally for the first time in years. An exact quote, "I've been paying $33 every week for 5 years, now you want to charge me $35. I'm through with this place" SMH
  20. Awesome pics.. I've heard about Gamble Sands...I think they say the wind blows 30 mph 24 hours a day there...ha Great story obout you and your wife...One of the most original "you may now kiss the bride" stories I've heard!!
  21. That was quick, wasn't it. MGS doesn't mess around!
  22. And not taking the time to read and follow entry instructions to post your entry in the correct thread, just gives you an idea of the type of effort they most likely would put in on the review.
  23. No worries. I had a great time in the short 24 hours I was there. I thoroguky enjoyed both Southern Hills and Pine Barrens. I told my buddy I have to plan my next trip for January when it's as cold as balls in Maryland. Maybe extend my trip to the PGA Show next year. Sent from my LG-D850 using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  24. Wow...What a mess. I don't understand how there are allowed to be so many cut rate insurance companies out there. I see ads for some of these companies (usually on late night TV, saying one call to us gives you proof of insurance right away). With every driver beign required to have insurance (at least liability) it seems like there should be more oversight into what type of companies can sell polices or remain in business. I've been as USAA customer for over 35 years, and never once had to worry about a claim (fortunately I've only had two in all those years) one time was last spring when my beloved SUV that had just over 200,000 miles, that I had planned don driving until it wouldn't go any more was totaled. I was really worried what I'd get out of it, but was pleasantly surprised to get a check for about $3,000 more than I had expected. but back to the moron that hit you....People are generally Idiots!!
  25. On the old TGC Board I was ScoopMD, scoop....a nod to my reporting gig at the time and MD for Maryland like you. I once had someone assume I was a veterinarian (and ask me a dog related queston) I guess they connected scoop with dog poop.
