While we were in Maui I had some amazing pour over on the Road to Hana. Picked up a bag of Starbucks Kona coffee. Probably my favorite yet, problem is you can’t get it here that I can find. Also have been picking up several brands in Mexico and Costa Rica. Not too shabby.

I have mixed feelings about PING, but that hybrid was going to go in the bag as my 3/4 wood. I was carrying it 240+. A really point and shoot tool.

At what point do you say screw it and play bad so you don’t get put with the pacer? Pretty sure I’ve seen guys miss putts on purpose just so they can sleep in the following day. Namely Tiger a few years ago. Seemed to miss it on purpose, the cut that is.

My wife found me some vineyard vines pants on sale. I was a straight twill type of guy for years, mocking stretchy fabric… now, if it doesn’t flex it doesn’t come home with me. Nothing like (hypothetically) being in an odd spot in a bunker and you rip a hole in a pair of pants because they can’t move. Highly recommend the VV stuff if you can find it on sale. Otherwise, I had a few of the target brand golf pants that weren’t too bad, but those were on sale too.

I’ve always wondered if that kind of stuff is happening. Not just in golf, but all sports. Some stuff just seems way to convenient as you said. Like the Michigan Wolverines getting smoked by TCU, then TCU getting embarrassed by Georgia… or I could just be a little bitter about that. Haha

I went to buy it today, but not a single store in the area had it. Planning on it keeping me sane on my next “business trip.”

I think BK is on a mission. He was my dude when he was playing lights out winning the US Open and PGA the way he did. Fell off a bit, then moved to LIV. Wish they could come to some sort of agreement so we can see him, Cam and DJ mixing it up with the rest of the PGA players more often.

Last year during my fitting, I was handed a PING G425 in the flat setting. It was the most anti left hybrid I’ve ever hit. And it was an absolute bomber. They have two different flat settings too, I could have went to the BIG - and probably had a fade machine. I assume that the new version is very similar.

If we go back the plantation is on my list. But I want to go to Kaui.

Just watched all of Rahm’s highlights…. I don’t think I’ve seen him in better form. I hope he keeps the pedal down tomorrow and through the weekend. Have tomorrow off so I will be watching from the start.
