  1. The BIG Day has arrived!!! The club was overnighted to me and I ran to the door as soon as I saw the delivery person on my security cam. Packaging was good and I had no concerns about the condition of the club. There was bubble wrap secured to the head on top of the shrink wrap. There was a letter attached to the grip with an introduction and information abou the design and use of the club. I found this to be very helpful and a nice touch by the owners. Of course in my excitement, I had to get a feel for the club and waggle it a few times in my hand. It felt head heavy as expected but not in a bad way. I was really looking forward to trying this club and even though I'm currently using JumboMax JMX Ultralite grips with great success on all my clubs I'd try this without them (more on this later as I feel that a fair test for me would include installation of these grips which I am in the process of completing). The club came with a midsize Lamkin grip. My intial impressions of the club appearance overall were favorable. There's a nice glossy black finish and the Teeless branding along the 60 gram, Regular Flex proprietary Fujikura Teeless Shaft. I did notice two distinct markings on the top of the clubhead. I assume these were for lining up the sweet spot during setup and swing. The clubhead is a 400cc head design which is squashed down to fairway wood face height. It has a 13 degree loft which is indicated on the sole. This is designed to get your shots in the air quicker from any lie (including divots). Just thinkinhg about the possibilites after a great (or not so great) tee shot has me excited. Also included is a well designed leather head cover that is also well padded and embroidered on both sides. I think that about covers my initial impressions during unboxing. I would say that overall my impressions are favorable. On a scale of 1-10, I would give it an 8.5. That's only because some clubmakers get really fancy when it comes to exterior packaging and this was more of a no frills box with great product appearance. So, take that with a grain of salt. After all, isn't it really about the product?? Next Up.....Testing
  2. Right now I would have to say my driver is trending down even though I have much more distance off the tee. I began the season with my drives being less "automatic in the fairway" but shorter than average shots. They were still shorter and less consistent. I've since switched to JumboMax Ultralite grips and WOW!! I've easily picked up twenty yards with what feels like a far easier swing. I'm swinging the LagShot Driver before teeing off so that by the time I grab my driver, I'm very carefully making contact with the ball at the optimal height for distance. Now if I could just figure out what it is in my setup that’s causing me to wind up open a third of the time these days. My irons are trending up with higher launch and bit more distance while maintaining accuracy. Putting is flat and I need to put some work into setup there. Wedge play is trending up as I am learning how to dial in different wedges for the specific shot. This is something I was not aware of until this year and I'm just beginning to understand the benefits of different wedge lofts.
  3. Hit the range to try out my new JumboMax Ultralite grip on my driver. Then I went over to the chipping range and tried out a new 60 degree SM6 Vokey wedge I picked up.
  4. Hiking, Kayaking, Snowshoeing, Cigars, Bourbons, and Cycling. I also lead an outdoor group where I coordinate one of the aforementioned at least once a month.
  5. Thank you MyGolfSpy and T-Less Driver for this amazing opportunity. I began playing about about 10 years ago as part of a work event and never looked back. I try not to since my first clubs that were purchased for me turned out to be Women’s clubs. I only discovered this after stopping by a club maker to inquire about new clubs after struggling with them for 3 years. I now play 2-3 times a week weather permitting and have played in a Spark Golf League the last 3 years. I somehow won at the course I’ve played the last 2 years so this year I’m switching to a new course to challenge myself. I reside in the Pacific Northwest so between October and April opportunities to play are rare unless I’m desperate enough to play a soggy round. I have actually resorted to playing in the snow once with a Men’s Club I was a member of. My swing speed is under 90 but, I’m hoping to increase that with the help of a golf fitness program I’ve just started. I’m not a long hitter but where I excel is accuracy and consistency. I’m hoping that the T-Less driver helps me to gain a bit more distance than I get from my current 3 wood off the deck in the fairway or from the tee box. It’s the club that currently use to get me into scoring position most often. UNBOXING The BIG Day has arrived!!! 6. I'd bet that Sam Bennets name-image-likeness (NIL) endorsement money that college athletes and amateur golfers can now collect far exceeds what he would have collected competing as a professsional finishing tied for 16th at the Masters this year.
  7. Once I put my glove on I rarely take it off prior to the end of the round unless I need to use the restroom.
  8. KZG Taylormade Burner Plus PXG 0311XF PXG 0211COR Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Mine are kept in my closet in my office so that they stay nice and warm and toasty.
  10. I actually adjusted my ball position a little further back toward the center of my stance and paid close attention to maintaining my head position as much as possible through impact and it helped tremendously.
  11. Rapsodo MLM Callaway 300 Pro Slope Laser Rangefinder
  12. I use it for distance and have enjoyed it. However, all the great comments about 18 Birdies, and sone of the other apps have inspired me to give then a try.
  13. GolfLogix has been my “go to” app for distance estimates via GPS, keeping score, tracking club distances, accuracy off the tee, and looking at my overall progress. This year I plan to try out the putting feature when I’m not playing in league to see if it has any value. I’ve used it for the last 5 years or so with no issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Yeah. I had a lady who was not very nice once. I haven’t seen her since. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I used play Meriweather during the Spring and Summer leagues every Wednesday. This year I’m switching over to the Summerfield location. I like to play all over but, my go to courses are Wildwood, Eastmoreland, Glendoveer, and of course Claremont which is literally 3 minutes from my front door. Chehelam Glenn is a tough walk. I purchased the Alphard Club Booster V2 from someone right on here. Where do you play? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I prefer to walk when I am playing with my league or wih a friend that maintains a good pace as I feel it helps me to maintain a good rythm. If its a casual weekend round with some guys, and I have a later tee time, I'd prefer to prepare for a more casual pace and just take my time aas to not make the folks in front of me feel rushed since I am a fast player naturally, enjoy the scenery and conversation along with a cigar until it is my turn. Just purchased an electric walking cart kit so, I excited to walk this year.
  17. Awesome. Can't wait to catch the next one.
  18. I'm also in the Portland area (Bethany neighborhood). Glad that I work from home but, I've been anxious to get used to my new clubs before golf league starts up in April.
  19. Unbiased reviews and very knowledgable members as well. I've gained alot of insight into finding what works for me. There are players from all around the country and in my area that have had similar journeys to that of myself and it helps to validate my processes and even uncover some new ideas that help me to enjoy the sport even more than I already have.
  20. Iron headcovers even the magnetic covers. They’re designed to be lost like socks in the dryer.
  21. If this is still for sale, I am interested. I tried to DM but there was a message that stated you cannot receive messages.
