  1. Sorry to hear the competition had to be canceled, the COVID shortages seem to be creeping into everything these days.
  2. It was supposed to have started in early June, a couple of testers have gotten their drivers but the rest of us are still waiting
  3. I have wanted to play Links of Lands end...my mom lives in Paris and I drive right by the Yantis cutoff everytime I go up there...some friends played it last year and had good things to say I also heard the same company that runs Garden Valley bought out the old Cherokee Golf Club in Jacksonville and re did it
  4. everytime I played that hole I was over the green in the flowers and shrubs
  5. Dude I am so jealous of you getting to play there!!! That one is definitely on my bucket list of courses in this area. I got to play both the Carlton Woods courses several years ago. Since you are in Montgomery know anybody you could kill to get on at Bluejack National?
  6. I am in!! Come on I need me a mystery box of goodness!!
  7. I’m in the market for a decent RB..anybody got one they want to move
  8. 39 points for my defense this week….is that any good
  9. Just read the ball test report on the refurbished balls….I’ll pass
  10. Really struggled with all striking yesterday, way too many penalties 6/14 fairways (ouch) If if weren’t for my short game and lights out putting ( only 28 putts) it might have been really ugly. 49/43 = 92
  11. Want to see something really funny? Most of us in the Honma driver testing still haven’t gotten our drivers…..this week a couple of us arrived home to find a box on the porch from Honma Really exciting!!!! Until you open it yep that’s right nothing in the full size club box but a head cover and a wrench
  12. so the tracer isn't an app on your phone but something you add afterwards on the computer?
  13. I actually just went through the rangefinder issue, left my bushnell stuck to the post with the magnet and left the cart at the cart barn to be washed at the end of the day, got home and was getting stuff out of my bag and realized I left the rangefinder (I put the rangefinder case in the pocket where I put my wallet) Called the course spoke to the pro shop he said hang on and I will call over to the barn, gets back on the phone "they said they didnt find one, you sure you didn't leave it on the course somewhere?"
  14. I have already said this, but I would like to orchestrate a trade between my regular team and my Circus team
  15. Played yesterday morning with a sleeve of Pro V1 Left Dots thanks to @txgolfjunkie These things are AMAZING off the tee...long piercing ball flight! I hit a couple of the longest drives I have hit this year! Par 5 10th hole has a speed slot if you can carry the right fairway bunkers which is about 265 from the regular men's tee, I normally don't try to go down the right side but was hitting long drives all day and the wind was behind me...I hit a nice baby draw right over the middle of the bunker, caught the speed slot and ended up with a 296 yard drive only leaving me 225 to the middle of the green...pulled the approach shot into the front bunker but still got it up and down for a sand birdie! 42/40 = 82
  16. Dang why couldn't I have been playing you....LOL Sorry Bro
  17. So I played yesterday afternoon with a brand new sleeve of the Left Dots courtesy of the extremely generous gesture by @txgolfjunkiewho sent me a sleeve!! Thanks bro! I typically play Snell MTB/Pro V1 or Srixon ZStars (been finding them cheap) and I did go through a dozen of the Left Dash earlier this season Off the Tee: The Left Dots seem to have a more boring trajectory..not as low as the AVX and not as high as a standard ProV1 or the other tour caliber balls I usually play. Distance wise they seem to be about 10 yards longer than the Snells and a few yards longer than the others but not quite as long as the Left Dash. (Left Dash is the longest ball I have ever played, but its a rock around the greens for me) I did notice a little more side spin than I normally see on my tee shots but that could easily have been my crappy swing Approach Shots: Again I really love the flight of this ball, its a nice mid trajectory that will be great in the wind. I like the feel of the Left Dot off my irons...MUCH better than the Left Dash. Maybe a couple of yards longer than my normal balls, but spin is the big winner here!! Almost every shot that hit the green stopped on a dime and a few backed up. I had a full sand wedge rip back about 8-10 feet which is a lot on my home course. Chipping and Pitching: Again, feel and spin were great...balls checked very quickly with almost no run out. I left the first 2 chips pretty short before I adjusted and started trying to knock down the pin with my chips! Putting: Nice feel and sound off the face and the ball rolled very true If these werent so hard to find I would order a couple of dozen right now! At least I only lost 1 yesterday so I still have 2 to play my next round. Thanks again to @txgolfjunkie for sponsoring this review
  18. So far I have ended the season of Gus Edwards and now Mostert has gone down…hopefully not for too long
  19. I scored over 145 points with my RBs only getting a total of 5 points I am a RB jinx right now
