    Pyramid putter

I’ve been seeing this ad pop up on Facebook for several weeks now featuring Blair O’Neill. The pyramid putter claims to have created a gear effect on the face of the putter to correct toe and heel strikes and direct them back towards the hole. I think MyGolfSpy needs to do some independent testing on this claim. https://www.pyramid-putters.com/a/secure/page/GM96Gy5lLW3paVRuK47o?fbclid=IwAR3jpN5eGEp7EPT6XFPS8tV6GSCREO6He0ZmQxwDVDkZ5-TttAzjK4c36Ek&utm_campaign=PP_HHA_CBO_US&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=Facebook&utm_content=HHA_US_45%2B_Interests_Videos_T6Fixed_H18_AR3545_V2

  9. I’ve been playing recoils in my irons for about two years now and I absolutely love them, in fact all of my wedges have recoil shafts in them as well I love the feel and control Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy I don’t think I could ever go back to steel shafts in my irons again Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. I actually have one of the tin cup bar markers that was created for another golf forum that I used to frequent but I no longer use it I would love to be able to promote MGS Every time somebody found one of my balls in the trees LOL Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  11. I wish that the powers that be would have a tin cup ball marker or golfdotz created with the MyGolfSpy logo so that we could easily apply it to any ball of our choice. Since the spy logo is all black it would be easy to use one of the tin cup bar markers. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

  18. Got out for a quick 9 last night, played my normal round and since the course was empty I dropped 10 balls on the 9th fairway at various spots and played them all into the green. During the round I hit 4 shots with my RTX ZipCore *50 wedge. First let me say again, this is a completely different club since I got it set to my specs, I put my old wedge shaft into it which lengthened it by 3/4” and had it bent 2* up. This got rid of the extreme toe strikes that I was seeing and eliminated the big block to the right...just goes to show the importance of getting fit for every club in the bag. 1st
  19. Played last Sunday for the first time since I re-shafted my RTX ZipCore 50* wedge. Getting the club adjusted to my specs of + 3/4” and 2* up made a HUGE difference! With the standard shaft and lie I was blocking a lot of shots right and missing several greens which is not good with a wedge in your hand. Sunday I hit 9 total shots with the RTX ZipCore and was inside 15 feet on all of them! 5 shots were inside 8 feet and 2 were inside 3 feet with one that was a kick in birdie. The ball flight was much better and it seemed like I was generating quite a bit more spin. I was on the fence and wh

Anybody playing these irons? What are your thoughts on them? They are running a big special selling these for $89 a club and I’m definitely intrigued to say the least. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  21. I had my 50* RTX ZipCore reshafted and the lie adjusted.....I pulled the Recoil shaft out of my Cobra wedge and had it installed in the Cleveland and had the lie adjusted to my 2* up specs. WOW! What difference! I’m hitting the ball in the center of the face and I’m now hitting my normal 3 yard draw instead of blocking shots 10 yards right. I also am hitting it about 8-12 yards further on full swing shots and I’m generating more spin based on the reaction around the greens in the short game area. I played DG spinner shafts before and always found them a little “whippy” which cost me distanc

  23. I got out for a round on Saturday....it was HOT! 118* Heat index!! I hit 9 shots with my 50* RTX ZipCore wedge (I purposely laid up to 110 yards on all 4 par 5’s) I had 6 full swing shots including one on a par 3 that was playing 113 yards to the front pin. I also hit 3 knockdown 3/4 swing shots from various yardages. 1st hole is a reachable par 5 but I’m testing wedges not Fairway woods...so I laid up to 112 yards. Perfect lie right in the middle of the fairway....pin was tucked on the left side about 15 feet over a very deep bunker. Lined up just right of the flag and made a nice smoot
  24. Played a full round on Sunday and had several shots with the RTX ZipCore Wedge. I hit 2 full swing shots, 3 -3/4 knock down shots and I “attempted” if you want to call it that 1 43 yard low checking shot. 1 thing I am noticing is I seem to be hitting just about every shot high on the face and out on the toe. *** Keep in mind that the wedges that Cleveland sent us are standard length and lie *** I play my current gamer at +3/4” and 2 degrees up, so I’m pretty sure that’s accounting for the mishits. Even though I am hitting the ball out on the toe, I’m still seeing consistent distance an
