    LAST CALL!!!!!
I know this is a really big ask so I'm not expecting much but figured I'd give one last push.
Just FYI, there are nearly 30K views in 24 hrs for this video!! Besides the recent Costco series, this rates as one of the most watched videos Gabe has put out to date and this is just the 1st day!
After talking to Gabe, he REALLY wants to review the TS1-IM next. He wants to do a head-to-head against the Kirkland clubs and possibly Takomo, and the other club brands in its class. NOBODY in YouTube land has reviewed Maltby clubs like this so this is very exciting to say the least!
We have a couple volunteers for the TS3 which will be the following review so that's awesome!
If we can't find a volunteer to lend their beloved TS1-IM's, we have a plan B in place but I figured I'd hit the forums up first.
    Thanks y'all!

They're also considerably less-jacked than MOST other SGI irons, as well as the fact that he even with all the wind, he said "I'm getting all the distance I would expect", so ... unclear what he was expecting, lol.
All that being said, the biggest surprise for me was the 'hard' feel he was experiencing.  I have ZERO experience with those irons, mind you, but having played TM Sim Max irons in the past, there's nothing 'soft'-feeling out of the toe/heel of those, either.  Definitely not denigrating his review there, just not sure what SGI iron feels "good" on low/off-center strikes, lol.
Let's get him a set of TS3/4s and watch his brain break. 🙂

Fatshot got a reaction from ZJeb67 in Non-Golf Shoes: What works best for you?
When I go to the range, I wear sneakers all the time and seldom, if ever, notice a difference.   When I play though, I walk the course most of the time, and I think an all leather golf shoe holds up better than one made of other material.   Also, I usually play first thing in the morning, so dew is a factor, and I need a shoe that is more moisture proof.  Spikes vs. spikeless is a non-issue for me b/c most, if not all of the courses I play are relatively flat.  Finally, I wear a hard to find size (13 Narrow!), so I find that my best bet for golf is Foot Joy b/c they have always made shoes in my size!

To me, your choice of a gap wedge depends on how you're going to use it, and what your chipping/pitching game is like.  If you're only going to use a gap wedge for full swing shots, then I'd stick with the set wedge b/c it will most likely look and feel like the rest of your irons.   If you're going to chip and pitch with it, then you might want to look at other options.   I find that set gap wedges feel LIGHTER than most specialty wedges, and for chips/pitches, I like a heavier feeling wedge.   This is especially true for me b/c I use graphite shafts in my irons, and a wedge that's light in the head with a graphite shaft feels like a feather!   Also, specialty wedges can come in a variety of bounces and sole designs which can suit your short game better.

Forum Testing Reviews (I like to read about how folks go about evaluating gear) and the What Did You Practice Today thread. The latter encourages me to find ways to practice at this time of year and is the source of good ideas.

As a "newer" member here, it sounds like I need to seek out the "Good Morning" thread and the "Otto Phlex" thread....!   I've already read the "Show Us Your Maltby" thread from beginning to end and have added a comment or two (really like reading Popeye's reviews and comments on all things Maltby!).  Hopefully, I'll be spending a lot more time here in 2024.

Had a fun round last week - trimmed bag: Driver (G400 SFT), 3w (G410), 3h (G400), 5h (Nike CPR), 7i (Edel SMS), 9i (TM SLDR), 54* (INDI Flex S) and putter (Odyssey AI-One 7T DB)….that was a fun mix of clubs - loft gaps hovering about 8*.  This post is about the INDI 54 and it’s work all day as the utility wedge.  Anywhere from 75yds in it was called upon.  That became my goal - make up and downs for par using the 54 a viable option.  If GIR isn’t happening but up and down is possible, then the goal becomes “get the ball close” where it’s a good % roll for par.  The 54 as well as its siblings (50 and 58) continue to instill that confidence.

My Indi Super Gap 48* arrived today!!  Beautiful piece of equipment, and it arrived in 4-5 days, IIRC.    Even though my wife is stressing about Thanksgiving and has a list of "honeydo" chores for me a mile long, I told her, "I gotta take a break and go check this thing out!!"   Took it down to the basement, checked it for length and swingweight (right on!), and proceeded to chip a couple of dozen balls off the tight weave carpet we have down there (I always chip there in the winter, figuring if I can chip off that stuff, chipping off of grass will be easy!).   It feels great, and I like the fact that the head looks nice and compact compared to so many of the oversized heads I see in the stores.  Next will be a session outside in the back yard....weather permitting....and then it'll be in the bag!!

The discussion of Indi Wedges here piqued my interest, so last week I poked around their website, found out they're having a "Black Friday" sale with a nice discount;  so I called Indi, talked to Zane, and ordered myself one of their  "Super Gap" wedges (48* bent to 49)!   It's on the way.....should arrive either tomorrow or Wednesday!   Unfortunately, the weather here in NW Ohio is turning less fall-like and starting to feel more like winter.   But, I'm sure there will be a mild day or two in late November or December (I've played here in every month of the year, at some time or another!), so I'll be trying it out.....

Hey a really quick and easy DIY fix for the logo is a q-tip and a bottle of acetone from a dollar store. Then follow up with some steel wool.
The shape and look of a TSW wedges has to be one of my favorite of all time. And not just from Maltby but from any club maker. If you haven't yet, you'll find out that these play and feel as good as anything
