That's insane! What's crazy is you are swinging it what, 105-110 MPH based on ball speed? I don't see how they hold up to guys swinging it at tour speed and that we don't see them exploding on the course when they're using them. I'm wondering if you got ones from a bad batch since you and John got then at the same time.

I didn't get a chance to go practice today, I was stuck in traffic for over an hour and when I got home the wife and sister-in-law were out weeding one of the flower beds. I decided it would only be proper and safe to get out in the yard and mow. I didn't want the "she"riff putting me in golf prison. There's still more to do, we have other flower beds that need tending and I need to do the trimming. I have to put new string in it and I wasn't feeling it this evening. @GolfSpy_KFTI hope the acupuncture works for your shoulder and it's nothing major. @RichL85 in sorry to hear about your FIL, he'll be in our thoughts and prayers. @IndyBonzo I'm glad you had a great trip!

I seriously considered showing up to the round at Royal New Kent wearing shorts and my argyle knee high compression socks, but figured they might kick me off the course. I fortunately found some shorter compressions that I'll be wearing during the trip since the reason I wear them is my ankle. As far as the OP's original question, I have no problem with anyone wearing long socks if that's what they like. I think the most important thing is they have a respect for the course and the game.

Good morning everyone! It's a nicer morning here than yesterday with all the storms that rolled through. The community call yesterday was great and I enjoyed getting to talk to those of you that made it. I'm happy we've reached the last day of the work week here, initially we were supposed to work tomorrow and they cancelled it due to equipment issues. I might try to get out this evening for some range time or maybe go tomorrow before the wife gets up since she has me on the schedule to do yard work with her. I don't carry a 5 iron as I ditched having one in the bag last year simply because I couldn't hit it well. I really didn't use it then as I had a 5 hybrid in the bag at the time. I just basically carried both them for different things, the hybrid was my distance club and the iron was for those punch out shots under the trees.

I had a great time on the call and it's crazy to think that we've only got two more of these before the meetup.

I have a feeling if you continue to hit them like that, you'll do it.

Good morning everyone! I'm finally sitting in the parking lot in my own car and not driving the wife's SUV. It's weird as I feel I'm sitting lower to the ground than I was, imagine that. It's going to be rainy the next couple of days so I don't think golf is in my future. They cancelled our Saturday work (yay!), so my wife immediately stated "you can help with yard work!" (Boo!). I've got to say, I completely agree with you on the looks department and that the Aerojet Max is a great looking club. I just think the murdered out look of the Darkspeed and that headcover just take it to a whole new level. I've only seen it in person once at PGASS and it still has the plastic on the head so I couldn't see how good it looked at address. Congratulations on the win, Jason and I can't Wait to hear how you hit it!

Good morning everyone! It's a nicer morning here than yesterday and I'm just drinking coffee getting ready for another day at work. I get my car back today and it'll be nice not to have to take my wife's car away from her every morning, although I'll miss the comfort of her SUV. I've never played a course with shared greens and even though I know they exist, it never popped into my mind this was one. I still can't shake the paranoia that I'm going to end up there on both holes.

Happy birthday! I'll be joining you in hitting that milestone later this year. I have a feeling it's going to do the same to me as far as being reflective goes. Hitting 30 hit me like a ton of bricks and 40 didn't bother me at all. It's good you've still got family close to you that you can spend time with, those moments are precious.

Good morning everyone! It's a back to work Monday after a 3 day weekend. I won't be getting one of those this week as my job is back to calling Saturday overtime and this is our week. I had a good one, most of the weekend was about my wife and her birthday and I enjoyed celebrating her. It's going to be a rainy week here so there will probably not be much on the golf front this week. I hope you all have a great start to your week!
