  1. Did another return to form workout today. Making progress but still behind where I was.
  2. After taking several weeks off due to some injuries I’ve done a couple of return to form workouts. It is surprising and disappointing how quick you lose the gains of the earlier training.
  3. My results with the Graphite Design Tour AD shafts did not match up exactly with the charts referenced previously in the thread. But there was some correlation. For me here is what I found. Highest Flight - AD MT AD IZ AD DI AD TP AD UB Lowest Flight - AD VR Most Draw - VR, Most Fade - DI Best Feeling - DI & VR Harshest feeling - UB Playing the AD VR 6S currently in a Cobra LTDx LS 9 degree Driver set at -1. Had been playing the DI 6S in driver and the TP 8S in an LTDx 1 degree 7 wood, but sold both shafts to a friend and they are working well for him.
  4. In the past year I’ve tried the Tour AD DI, IZ, VR, MT, TP and UB. All purchased second hand off EBay. The Tour AD DI 7S paired with a Cobra LTDx 15 degree 3 wood set at 16.5 is a match made in heaven for me. Best I’ve ever had. Dependable and great performance. It has literally changed my game. It is so good that it took me down the Graphite Design rabbit hole to try to achieve similar magic with my driver and my 7 wood. I’ve come close, but try as I might I haven’t been able to match the performance and consistency in any other club besides that one.
  5. Had such a good time and talked it up to my friends at home that another friend of mine is interested in joining in. If he can make it, I will try to recruit a fourth too.
  6. @Brother Daveand I are up for another golf roadtrip. Had a great time and enjoyed playing with everyone in Pinehurst. The 36 hole day definitely took a toll on us. Although most of the guys wanted to play their own ball on the last trip, maybe an optional 9 hole Shamble or Scramble replay would be fun. Would also be in favor of an optional Birdie or Skins pool. Thanks for doing the legwork.
  7. The Potential distance is based off of very generous assumptions. My on course distances are much less. For a variety of reasons. Generally I’m not swinging at Max level on the course. I play at sea level and our course has fairways that are pretty soft so there is not much roll. When I play in Wisconsin during the summer I typically gain 10 yards due to the change in elevation and course conditions. But my distance has increased on the course after starting with the Stack System. A good drive for me now is about 265. Before starting with the swing speed training it was about 245.
  8. Back at it. Did my workout outside on the range before my round as my warmup. definitely prefer doing the swing speed training outside on grass instead of indoors.
  9. After using the Stack System now for several months my recommendation is to start as soon as possible. I wish I had done this years ago when I first considered it. So far have gained 12 mph of swing speed. If anyone wants or needs a discount code let me know and I will send you the link.
  10. Back to doing regularly scheduled workouts again. Starting to see speed return after a few weeks of slower speeds as I recovered from an injury.
  11. After a couple weeks off due to injury I did a return to form workout today and was disappointingly slow.
  12. Been struggling lately with the third program of my Stack System swing speed training. Have had several things come up that interrupted my schedule and my Grit Score took a slight hit. Lots of excuses: Hurricane power outage followed by cleanup of debris. Tweeked a muscle in my back and neck from the cleanup, Club Championship, Club Ryder Cup event, reinjured neck and back muscle. The bottom line is my swing speed has plateaued or even taken a slight hit.
  13. 4th workout complete of my Full Speed Spectrum 2nd program. Kind of stuck.
  14. Excited to see that there will be a number of people getting the opportunity to test and review the Stack System soon. It ought to add some life to this thread. If not this thread, maybe the threads can be combined. Been using the Stack System for 4 months and just started my 3rd program of workouts. In that time I’ve picked up 12 MPH of swing speed. Looking forward to seeing similar results from the testers.
  15. Took a break for a week from doing the Stack System workouts because I hurt my back doing non golf related stuff. Grit Score took a hit as expected. Completed my 3rd workout of the 2nd round of the Full Speed Spectrum program yesterday and picked up right where I left off. Still in kind of a plateau at the moment. Made a fair amount of gains early on and now kind of stalled a bit.
  16. Haven’t updated y’all recently. Finished the Full Speed Spectrum program this past week and did my Progress Check. Up another 4 MPH. Total swing speed increase since starting with the Stack System in April is 12 MPH!! Was recommended by the app to repeat the Full Speed Spectrum program and completed my first workout this morning
  17. A couple of days in the car coming back from my place in Wisconsin didn’t help my Stack training. Was a little late in doing my workout so the grit score took a little hit and I was slower this morning. Fortunately it didn’t hurt my golf game. Played with the men’s group and had my best round of the last month. Two close ups. Low gross award for my 74. One of my three birdies held up and I won all my side bets!
  18. Added a 7W to the bag a few years ago. The top of my bag now is Driver, 4 wood, 7 wood, 5 hybrid, 5 iron. Playing the Tour Edge E723 7 wood now and it is so easy to hit. It is in the place where my 3 iron would be. Cobra LTDx 5 hybrid replaced my 4 iron.
  19. Reached several personal bests during yesterday’s workout.
  20. Got a full set of the 195g weight to 101 MPH yesterday for the first time!
  21. Did my workout at 7AM before golf today.
  22. Another workout in before golf today. Playing from the tips at Spooner golf club for the first time. Called off the course due to lightning after 6 holes. Rain Check!
  23. It happens. Might be under warranty. Contact whoever you bought it from and see what happens.
