  1. I can't give up on Brooks now... he's back this week baby! haha
  2. The tour speedzone looked awesome. The 3wd in that is smaller head size than the 5wd in the regular speedzone line. I liked it a lot but it was too low launching for me, which tends to be my issue with 3woods in general, so the forward CG of that one made it even lower. But the few that I nailed had a great feeling crack to them. You might find it plays longer than the loft suggests with the forward CG. worth a swing or two at your fitting anyway!
  3. I've got my 5 wood cranked all the way open (-1.5* setting) and it's an absolute dream for me. Pretty sure you've got more speed than me and I get 237 yards out of it compared to an arccos smart distance of 263 on my driver. I have to agree the 7 wood will probably help you will that hybrid-ish gap better.
  4. Yes I was hoping to be able to bend it or for an adjustable sleeve on them. Since I still love the way they feel and get through the turf for me I'm determined to make it work. I think I'm going to hit a bunch of shots at the range and maybe over my next few round choked up an inch. That should make it play effectively 2* flatter like my irons. Outside of that I may just have to try out a 7-wood too and see how that goes. I love the 5-wood so that might not be a bad alternative.
  5. Indeed! The MIMs are superb. I’m curious how the testers feel about the full face grooves on the higher lifted wedges. I’m not a huge fan of the look but I’ve also never actually hit balls with any.
  6. Somehow, I managed 3 out of my 7 to make it to the weekend! serious questions though.. Another missed cut for Rickie. Is he legitimately droppable now?
  7. Can we make it +4 or +5? I have 7 guys going and it looks like I'm only going to have ONE make the cut... I feel like I should get an award for that.
  8. I’m sure if he hasn’t already @daviddvm will be messaging you all his secret tips and tricks as the transition seemed pretty seamless for him!
  9. For anyone who was interested I saw on Instagram that the Putting Plane is available for purchase now. I believe it is right around $89, but right now due to my work VPN I am seeing Canadian dollar prices.
  10. It sounds like they will be understanding, hopefully they can get what she needs recovered with minimal re-work for her to do.
  11. The sensor grips add .25 inches. So it's up to you really. To play the same shaft length you can order 45.25, or the same finished length order at 45. If you plan to go to a traditional grip after you may opt to order at 45.25 so its 45 after. so either -2.5 or -.5 depending on your preference. EDIT: Oops didn't see it answered already. But as far as if you grip all the way to the end, I found a few of mine felt squishy as the end, while others felt pretty solid. It actually sort of taught me NOT to grip all the way at the end of the club.
  12. Great start! I should probably unfollow this thread unless I want to try to find my nearest US distributor.
  13. It will be interesting to see if the MIMs can match the Mizzy feel for you.
  14. I’m excited that we still have a competitor who’s going to be on #team1length. Somewhere @daviddvm is smiling. @LeftyMatt89 are you a former or current one length user? Or will this be your first dip into those waters? to the two MIM players.. @Mtbryant01 and @jlukes what are you boys playing now? Those irons seem to look like an awesome players cavity back design.
  15. Congrats gents. Looking forward to some good competition and roasting! Which team will gain my support? Hmmmmmmmm
  16. Hmm. I just checked too. Out of stock I’m guessing? I’ve ordered the MTB-X from them before. on snells site they’re stating a delay in manufacturing and a 2 dozen max purchase right now. Could be why we don’t see it on Golfballs.com
  17. I’ll check it out! Thanks for the recommendation.
  18. Nice! Looking forward to getting some rounds in for this one!
  19. I’ve thought about it. Need to hit them. My big issue is I get a lot of benefit from the launch and height of a hybrid so I’m not sure I’d get the same height out of the more iron like profiles. I tend to hit long irons low.
  20. Generally agree with you, but it’s been a pattern even off the tee.
  21. Stilll thinking about Hybrids, or well the Hybrid spot in my bag. I hit an absolute gem of a second shot after a poor drive on a par 5 on Sunday. It ended up going 210 with a high draw out of the rough. The only problem was it drew about 10-15 yards more than I felt like it should have, and nearly missed the left side of the fairway and would have been lost down a 15 foot rock wall. A few holes later I was using it off the tee on a short downhill dogleg left, set up down the right side of the fairway to allow for the draw and BOOM! Blocked it right. It's not terrible for me, I just feel like there's a better fit out there for consistency. I might have to browse eBay later on... what's a guy to do?
  22. In all seriousness though... Tom Brady did actually take golf lessons at my cousins driving range years ago. I remember seeing him get out of his Lexus to go for a lesson after I hit a bucket. Darkest window tint I’ve ever seen in my life. Definitely not Massachusetts compliant, but I’m sure he never got a ticket for it.
  23. Don't believe him, he's a filthy liar! He will likely bring these:
  24. thanks! It was a beautiful day out there! I love the PING bag. The Traverse really is a perfect compliment to a push cart. The top is basically flat and leaves plenty of ways you can set your clubs up. I have mine set up in a woode-esque fashion with the woods down the left. I like that for the push cart. On days I know I'll be riding I might move things around to a more traditional cart bag setup. It's been super stable at home and at the range standing up, so I don't miss the stand legs at all. Plenty of storage too. It's sized just right for me.
