Seems like they’re onto something this year. The TXG boys have been enjoying it and they do have some great stock options. I also noticed they were pretty much out of stock on mizuno’s site the other day, hopefully because of demand and not just Covid.

Really dig the looks of these putters. The entire Vintage line looks great, I'd like to roll some balls with them and check out the SIK face tech. The grip integrated Arccos sensor is cool, I just wish the would have done a straight and pistol grip option. Not sure I'd mesh well with the option they have.

1. Got my second dose of the COVID vaccine today, so I'm glad that part's done. 2. Kids at baseball no longer need to wear masks. All outdoor spaces they can be without them. It was nice to actually see some smiling faces at practice yesterday although it was actually harder to tell them apart at some points. 3. Booked a tee time for Sunday AM with @Lacassem and our two oldest kids. Should be a fun quick 9!

I had to go putter here. A close second would be my wedges. My reasoning: -If I have to hit a tee-shot or approach shot I should be able to hit a REASONABLY good shot with any off the rack club. My misses will certainly be better with properly fit clubs, but generally a good shot will be a good shot. I just might have to factor in differences in loft/lie with my starting line. -If I have to hit a wedge shot once again I should be able to hit a reasonably good shot with an off the rack wedge. I'd likely just choke up a bit more to have more control. I'm pretty confident in my ability to hit a flop shot or something like that if needed. -I want my putter in my hands. I know that I can putt well with most any off the rack putter. But if you're telling me I have one shot at a putt, I know my best shot at making it is with my putter. All the other shots listed a success vs fail has more room for error than the make or miss of a putt.

And now begins the longest wait of all time! Oh and remember guys... they won't likely all come at once! It was a week or so of guessing what was coming that day from the FedEx man! Can't wait to start seeing some photos from you guys of the new gear ready to kick off the competition!

There isn't a face tech story like EVNROLL with these right? I know the an EVNROLL putter the center is purposely softer/less hot than the heel/toe so that a ball should roll out to the same length if its hit anywhere along the milled face. They took me a few rounds to get used to, but since then it's really been working. I Don't think there is that kind of tech here.. Just EVNROLL and PING I think (and PING doesn't use it on all models). If I had to guess it would be the sound difference that Cody noted is what you're picking up on.

Courses I play aren’t well marked anymore. Trust me it’s much faster for me to hit the laser while my playing partners hit and it is for me to find the nearest marker and figure out how far I think I am. However, I agree that a GPS watch can be faster if you just want middle locations. I’m no pro, but my club selection and swing are going to be different for a 100 yard or 110 yard shot. And if I execute, I’ll take 3-4 less shots in the round to slow everyone down.

Swings like that are the reason I feel so sure about #teamChad. @Wedgie you should be shaking in your boots!

Generally yeah, it's probably overkill. But this could be cool/useful information if you're a frequent golf traveler and go and play at several different climate/elevations. It would be nice to have a better Idea of what distances I should expect from going from playing here in MA versus going out to someplace like Denver where the elevation should play a significant factor on the distance. If you're playing the same courses frequently it would be less useful as you'd be used to those general conditions. I didn't see a mention of this, but how much of this is within the rules of golf? I know it has the slide to turn off slope, do we lose all the other adjustments at that point to? I think Arccos caddie can use data from when the round started, but can't refresh or get current winds during the round. Although I have not tried Tournament mode with it so I'm not 100% there.

Yeah, I wonder how much of it will have to do with the app vs on the device. Might be a bit of work going between the two to tell it what club you used and where you're hitting from, etc. It looks like we need to get a good demo of it in action, but I applaud @PrecisionProGolf for thinking outside the viewfinder and adding some features and enhancements I haven't seen elsewhere yet.

I mean... we have a history of winning teams... so yeah, they should want to be part of that!

Well that was really interesting. from the Instagram teaser and the shape of it I was expect more of a Garmin-like model with the GPS built in and viewable through the viewfinder. Which we kind of get with the front/middle/back readings. I was not expecting something with as much input at this. Could be really cool. But with Arccos Caddie already working for me I'm not sure how different the results would be. Hopefully this will end up being a test opportunity for members. I'm still using my NX-9 HD from member tests almost 2 years ago now. It would be really cool to see how much difference all that data input can make, or just generally how well the GPS/Laser combo works for folks.

Reminder to double check your waivers... I lost on on a guy because I thought I had the right guy dropped after my trade with BNG. Turned out I didn't and my bid would have netted me that guy Live and learn!

Rory has some good history here.... could he be rounding into form at a good time? or Rickie... because I STILL want him to win! There seems to be a lot of new guys and established players making some big pushes this year. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a first time winner or someone older finally break through either.
