Had two shots today that stood out to me as potentials beats of the day. The first was my drive on 1. 298 yard left center of the fairway. It led to my first, and only converted birdie on the day. The second one was a 57 yard wedge from the rough after taking a penalty. I knocked it to an easy 2-3 footer to save par. I liked this one a lot because you can’t really see the green behind the bunker. Those shots always make me uneasy.

Ha! Golden ticket! My golden ticket would be reaching the playoffs! Even then, I’d rather see Louie win than Phil.

What Have You Bought Lately? (CHA - Club Ho's Anonymous)

That looks nice! If it doesn’t work check out the Ping Traverse. I got one because it works great with my pushcart! -
How often do you adjust your driver settings?
GolfSpy BOS replied to vandyland's topic in Golf Clubs
I have it set to what was best at my fitting. At the range and at the simulator I have tried the different settings, the original one is what I always end up at by the end of the session so that stays in the bag for actual rounds. I'd have to have a consistent miss caused by that setting before I would think about needing to adjust it. -
Man that is some serious wind. It's amazing how 1. they can sometimes still stop the ball on the green downwind and 2. how often they still end up pin high. But it is fun to see the shot tracer go wild right and left too. Makes me feel a little better! haha

There's a ton of rabbits on our street now too. No doubt that's dragging them out too.

We have some powerlines down a dirt road at the end of our street. Sometimes at night we can hear them howling. Generally they don't come out this way much. We used to have a lot of deer too, but I haven't seen any this year... I wonder if the Coyote's are growing in numbers in the woods there.

Figured out why my dogs have been so crazy sniffing lately in the morning. saw this coyote walking up the road this AM. Then again circling my neighbor’s chicken coop. Apparently it got 4 chickens already this week.

Correction *20 year old Cadillac that Eminem rolls with in 8-mile of beers* also, it’s actually a Chrysler.

Awesome work Cody! I’m looking forward to the career round videos coming this summer!

My guess is that sound/feel play a part. Also I'm sure they want to show the tech off too.

I wear a cadet small so I’m always curious if I should be in an undersize grip. There’s def not a big of a selection in that size. But I really like the sonars right now.

@StrokerAce WITB 2021 - %85.7 used

Nice! It's good when you can still make an aggressive swing and not have to worry about the dog leg. And you were still a short wedge in! Nice hole. -

How are you liking the Big Tour? Not sure if you've really gotten to use it, its still really new in the bag right? And how about the Exotics putter!? I don't remember hearing about that one! How do you like it? -
2020 Official Member Review: Wilson D7 Forged Irons
GolfSpy BOS replied to GolfSpy MPR's topic in Forum Testing Reviews
Yeah I make up my set so that I have comfortable gaps through the bag. I've technically got 5 "wedges" but since they're 1/2 to a club stronger lofts on the Forged Tec I count the PW only by name. I have roughly a 15 yard gap all the way down the bag to my hybrid which is 20 yards and 25 to the 5 wood. I don't tend to hit 3-woods well, and at 220+ out from a green I'm probably not going for it unless there's room to roll up onto the green. I could probably get away with dropping the forged tec GW and going 50, 54, 58 but I'm not even sure what I would add at the top of the bag. I guess I like keeping that area simple, and giving some extra versatility in the low end. I'll also add that end up playing a lot of short irons/wedges in my rounds. -
I just think it's important to note that at one point in the PGA Championship Rickie Fowler was a co-leader at -1. This is going to be my week! That is all, carry on.

Those MIM wedges are superb. I was using an SM7 D-grind 60* before and also went with the WideLow on the MIM. It is nice to have one that I can use on super tight lies but that wide sole adds some forgiveness back to the mix. It's really a lot more versatile than I was expecting. Tight lies, thick rough, and sand are all made easy by the MIM wedge. I also really like the classic grind on the 52*. That one seems to work great for my delivery on greenside chips, 40-50 yard pitches, and full swings too.

You saved $500! Maybe you should get a new Cobra Putter since you saved so much! I laugh when I check out at Kohl’s with two tee shirts and a pack of socks and the receipt is like “you saved $78.35 shopping with us today!” Like when was this tee shirt ever not $9.99?

These Bruins/Caps games have been so good. I love seeing the speed and intensity ramp up to 110% in the playoffs.
