  1. Yes I am really happy with the driver so far will be my real first season I got it last year in like August I think? Will be interesting and we’ll see how my yardage is with my new irons when I get them will determine if I need to get a wood to adjust my gapping or not.
  2. @tony@CIC good info thank you. I grabbed “the yoga bible” little long winded but I have found a few I like and has good descriptions on how to properly do them which is nice. Just need to go through it and figure out what’s going to work for me.
  3. With this quarantine insanity I recently got to thinking I need to expand on my stretching. Growing up an athlete I have always done the “typica” stretching. Nothing dynamic and as of late just isn’t cutting it. i just bought a 9 minute stretching book for in between at work while I’m at my desk has really helped out and has pictures. Also at home grabbed a yoga book which never in my dreams would I think I would have done that nor would it actually feel good.....but 4 days into this I’m feeling very good. I also grabbed a “chirp wheel” not sure if anyone has seen this but very simple and really works the back. does anyone have some good stretches or quick workouts that have worked for them? Obviously not everything in the books I grabbed work for everyone so always looking for more ways to be like my boy TB12 pliability! (Even Though he left us)
  4. Nice setup. How do you like the ts3 wood? I have the TS2 looking to go swing them I think I’m going to need to close the distance on my driver and 2H
  5. Welcome! I’m bridgewater have you played the links style course there (think it’s bridgewater anyway?) always good to see local folks.
  6. Welcome! How do you like the Maine courses? I have been going there camping since I was an infant and golfing as a teenager-now. Great courses and even better lakes!
  7. Definitely money grab and I don’t think it speeds anything up when it’s foursomes really. But hey it’s America right let’s all be lazy together
  8. Awsome topic. When it comes down to it really depends how quick I am trying to get a round in. Weekday by myself buzzing through I’ll take a cart. Preference thiugg I would rather walk. I get that from my dad I think. Walking allows you to see the course differently and really think about your next shot. Really take the course in hippie as that sounds
  9. Definitely when I bought my first set of good irons. Still playing them 7 years later. Cleveland 588MTs got them for 500 bucks year old and had only been used a handful of rounds practically immaculate for almost half price.
  10. Is it actually good? Watching the previews it just seems like a really bad 80's dream
  11. Definitely strong is short game and is the most consistent pretty much anything 180 and in (long irons are pretty consistent) I typically find myself struggling off the tee so when that is happening I try to go to the long irons just to save the round....but not always because who the hell wants to leave the driver in the bag.
  12. I find myself looking on amazon daily....HMMMM could use that divot tool OHHHH I need a new range finder too!.....Damnit
  13. I like the distraction at work from the mundane. Glad I can be the opposite of the trend!
  14. Agreed very surprised that the PING topped it.
  15. Really surprised the TM SIM was not in there, that was one I had the most interest in. Not in the market as I have the TS2 but still.
  16. Atleast you wouldnt lose any balls on the course, pup could track them down! I would be in the same boat SMH
  17. @Tsmithjr9 just finished Mr. Robot very good. Have you seen Sherlock yet? Just moved onto that its great.
  18. It’s brutal when you can almost taste the golf season....January cold and snowy is easier than this
  19. Much of the same. Putting in the basement getting a lot of putts in and I actually bought a yoga book ( never thought I would fall to that level) and a 9 minute stretching book for work in between (essential personnel) hopefully I can get some good stretching in I am not 19 anymore......
  20. This has be cracking up! FYI love the lines I did a double take!
  21. For anyone interested no "major improvement" stat wise. One thing I am finding is that I am missing more on the pro side when I do miss and although from distance I am not getting many perfect putts I do see that I am hitting the hole MORE often and it bouncing out which is a good sign. Also you can see 3/4' is a struggle to hit perfect putts but I am not missing which is nice (granted I am putting the same roll every time but still). Lastly I will say the putting mat does work, the 8' spot has guidelines and a backstroke tempo gauge which realllllly works. Getting great roll and accuracy from it. Going to continue my log and see what happens.
