  1. If it aint broke don't fix it, UST has always fit my swing well. and one of the few manufacturers that make a heavy shaft.
  2. Just want to see what's holding people from playing super or just game improvement irons??? I never thought I could get over the looks or the idea of playing them because of the stigma of them being old guy clubs. I'm no stick but I'm no slouch either, but once I adopted the MGS mentality and bought into what they preach about why no take advantage of tech or forgiveness. It was easy to game them, and the look on peoples face when they see that's what I'm playing is funny. But it should always be about the numbers, and to me these perform and produce results. let the ego go, enough of my rant. What's ur thoughts on this????
  3. Yup, I got the lil neoprene covers for them. And as far as striking the ball, I think I do alright. Marks video's was a factor in my decision to game the HB turbo's. But the review on MGS helped too. Its nice to be able to stand over the ball even on a bad day and know its still gonna do what I want them to do.
  4. I never thought I'd be number one but I don't wanna F@#% up my Hybrid irons.....
  5. Still be able to Squat 400lbs, Bench 315, and deadlift 550 all while still improving my golf game.
  6. Funny to find another strongman competitor on here, small world. yeah I know of the HPM crew. LOL
  7. Certified MEAT HEAD getting back into the game I loved for so long...

  8. I don't know many who can legitimately hit one and honestly how many club manufacturers are even making them anymore. tech has taken us so far why would you go backwards other than to say hey look I gots a 2 iron. Id say its just a waste of space in the bag. Hybrid or wood will give u better results. especially for 98-99 percent of us on here...
  9. Ok during this time the online stores and some companies are putting out some killer deals. I might have gone a lil overboard but the deal was hard to hard to pass up. so buy 2 dozen get 1 dozen free, kool.. Then the website had free shipping over 60 bucks, kool again right. Then the catalog had 20 bucks off of any order over 100 bucks, even kooler. So all in all 9 dozer balls for 99.96 or 1.08 a ball. And these arnt that bad. I havnt lost distance off the tee and the feel around and on the green(which is what I need the most) is really good. I think this is an underrated ball for sure. hope yall find some good deals out there. happy hunting
  10. LET the grass grow for the pros... Us regular jackoffs don't need longer courses. If we take the tour numbers out of the data I bet there is o need for longer courses. I'm a long ball hitter and it does me no good if I cant hit the green or sink a putt. And trust me hitting 300+ yard drives isn't always a good thing.
  11. try throwing in some explosive work, deadlifts too. anything that gets the hips involved
  12. MY MyGolfSpy Inspired WITB... I took the time did my research, looked at the data and looked for deals too. Got fitted and built this sweet set over the last 6 months. both the Ping g410 LST driver and G400 Strength 3wood were E-bay buys, heads only. Shafted in heavy UST V2 shafts. picked up the G400 hybrid at Edwin watts for 150 and it had a Tour AD-105 shaft in it. best deal in the bag just cause the shaft its soo spendy. 5.5 rifles in the HB turbos. I bought these cause golf is a numbers game and I wanted good statistics on my side.(NOTE: I wanted my worst shots with the irons to as forgiving as possible) Same with the wedges, these were demos that I had fitted for me and saved a few bucks in the process. I wanted TECH in my putter and last year or he year before the Cleveland was a top 10 performer and has face tech. Its also a fit, but didn't buy from the store, found on E-bay for 55 bucks. Take ur time do ur research look for deals and GET FITTED. I did everything they preach about and my game is almost back to what it was after a 5 year layoff from the sport.... Driver swing speed 116 avrg hence the heavy stiff shaft in woods... Irons swing speed 87 avrg and regular plus in irons...
  13. Hey Ya'll, Thought Id throw this thread out there for ya. What are ya'll doing to stay in shape during this lock-down??? Or have you done anything at all? Maybe its made you realize you needed to something more! For me it was a big change. Going 4-6 days a week doing Powerlifting programing spending 2-3 hours a session. All Strength lifting to include Bench, Squat, Deadlifting and overhead pressing. Some has help with golf while others hurt my swing. So recently I switched to Golf-Wods. Basically CrossFit designed for golfers. Its nice cause I can workout at home. I'm not in the gym for hours on end and most important I still feel good about myself at the end of the day. Allot of this was also health driven. I Just turned 40 and I weigh 240. not a good number, well a good number for powerlifting cause I'm at my strongest at this weight. 350 bench, 480 squat, and 600 deadlift. all great for the gym, but not so much for golf. I just needed to get healthier and this a good change for me, as well as a great way to workout while dealing with gym shut downs and social distancing. So again! what are you doing to stay in shape????? Sorry for the rant...
  14. A Vet Badge would be killer. If possible. and maybe a thought if no one else has asked but a Branch Badge. I.E Marines, Navy, Army ect... Semper-Fi
