  1. Practiced four and six foot putts in between sets of lifting this morning in the garage.
  2. Played at the ever frustrating Big Sugar here and started off with a birdie on the first hole (YAY), then proceeded to shoot +15 on the other 8 holes of the front nine lol. I reeled it back in with a +6 on the back nine. My putting failed me all day after the first hole and my club selection was not the best decision making I've had in a while. I can't remember the last time I've four putted but I had a couple on the scorecard. What. The. Eff. Such a fickle mistress.
  3. I'm still waiting to experience those flyers with my P790's, I guess I'm not good enough yet lol
  4. I just bought a basically brand new set of Nike Pro Combos 4-AW, original S300 shafts and nike grips, with a Nike Method Matter putter for $300 on a local FB ad. I'm playing P790's but I couldn't pass this deal up. I always wanted to try them out but never pulled the trigger.
  5. Face angle and holding the face just a smidge more at impact to reduce side spin and have a more stable draw.
  6. Broooooooooo. If you put Brees on the patriots with everyone that brady had they would've won waaaaay more Superbowls. Brees has how many records? It's hard to argue his GOAT status with the records he has.
  7. I'm going for anyone except Boston because I hate the Red Sox. Tejas Rangers ALL DAY SON. Drew Brees is the QB GOAT too.
  8. A tad late to the game but I'll give it a go as well. This scorecard doesn't really show how dangerous some of these holes are. Take 6 for example. Looks to be an easy par three but if you hit is short the entire front is a bunker that is 10ft lower than the green. The 8th sucks depending on pin location. If they put it in the back it's on a shelf maybe 10-12 feet wide and then dramatically slopes all the way down so if you miss it, your putt is around 40 feet uphill and at a slope.
  9. I had an impulse buy last night for a new 2019 set of P790's with C tapers. It was $960 shipped. I couldn't pass it up. Hopefully I'll get a decent amount for my current set of 4-AW so I don't get hammered from the significant other. Club hoeing is a curse
  10. Something new to try. 1. I love the color scheme and that's what caught my eye when I saw some irons on eBay with them. 2. I researched them and liked what I read so I got them to try.
  11. I got some No 1 soda blue grips for a great price on ebay.
  12. I'm an MA at an Urgent Care, teach BJJ/Striking at a gym, and am in school for Respiratory Therapy. Busy AF but still lots of time for family and golf.
  13. What do you all do with your gloves when they're done? I go through gloves rather quickly. Either I wear the palm out, I wear the thumb out, or both. I feel bad just throwing them away but I'm not sure they can be re-purposed?
  14. I can't find a bag that I am 100% set on. I just got a C130 and it's nice but I'm not sure I like it. I had a SM 4.5LS 14 way and I liked it but the dividers ripped. I tried a 6 way mizuno pro stand bag and I liked it but the club tangle was a mfer to deal with, even with minimal clubs in each spot. I tried the hoofer in store and didn't like the legs and how much force I had to use to get it to open.
  15. I put my 3W in the same class as my putter. I NEED that club, it is that essential.
  16. I teach boxing and brazilian Jiu-jitsu so I'm in the gym a lot, i really can't promote kettlebell workouts enough. They're fantastic for core work, cardio, strength, etc. Keith Webbers Extreme Kettlebell is a good program. So is Pavels simple and sinister.
  17. I like spiked more (adidas 360), they give each more traction. Even in dry weather I prefer them.
  18. That doesn't look that bad actually, nice job
  19. Unfortunately mate, I was born in Texas and lived there until I was 10 lol. Texas blood and roots, just lived here most of my life.
  20. Morning ladies and germs. I've been playing golf for around 6 years now with the last year practicing more to get better. Was shooting in the 100's, then moved to the 90's last year, this year I'm currently shooting low to mid 80's. Golf is fun for the most part, I just like being outside. It's another forum to chat about, not sure if I know anyone here yet. Bentonville, Ar with the home course being Lost Springs GAC in Rogers. Best things about it are the number of courses around the NorthWest Arkansas area of varying difficulties and price ranges. Worst things would be the private clubs I can't afford to be a member at LOL. I work in the medical field, username was something that I was called as a teenager.
