  3. I have a few friends who have non conforming clubs. The way I see it, play what you want. The caveat is you gotta be honest with others when you play. If your not willing to be honest with others about the equipment you are using when it matters, then maybe you should think about why your buying it. If your intention is to just have fun with some friends as a weekend hacker, I'm sure nobody will really care about what's in your bag. To be honest my friends who have nonconforming clubs also carry more than 14 in their bag. Does it bother me, no because we are enjoying the game and not competing. If we were competing, then it's a different story. Sent from my SM-G960U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  4. Callaway Golf has announced the Big Bertha B21. It's supposed to be more forgiving and even more draw biased than Mavrik Max. They are talking about taking away the slice for a lot of players. https://www.callawaygolf.com/clubs/big-bertha-b21-family/ Sent from my SM-G960U using MyGolfSpy mobile app

  6. They have a teaser on Twitter. Looks like new irons, driver and fairway woods and hybrid? Maybe the return of BIG BERTHA???? Sent from my SM-G960U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  7. Yeah, like in 2 days! Sent from my SM-G960U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  8. What's the root of your question? Are you hoping that they are very similar and you can save some dough on your fairway wood? My personal opinion is that the Mavrik is more "like" a Rouge than an Epic Flash. When you get fitted, be sure that they also fit you for the appropriate shaft and not just shaft flex. The Mavrik line comes with lots of options that you can use standard and no two shafts really have the same characteristics in their line up. If you can afford it, buy what you get fitted for new or see if you can find it CPO on Callaway preowned.
  9. x2. I have nerve damage after an injury and it's hard to grip the club properly. These gloves work well for me in helping ensure I can still grip it and rip it. In all seriousness it has allowed my hand to not be in pain and I can make it through 36 holes in a day without concern. I couldn't say that before using these gloves.
  10. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I started playing golf about 20 years ago. Got injured 5 years ago and started picking up the sticks again about 1.5 years ago or so. I usually shoot low to mid 80s depending on the course now. What do you love about golf? I enjoy spending time with my son who enjoys golf. I enjoy being able to put technology aside for 4 hours and just look at the beauty of what's in front of me. I enjoy the friendships that are developed on the golf course which are then taken off the course. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? I follow MGS closely and faithfully listen to No Putts Given Where are you from? What is your home course? Henderson, KY. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? Great Spring and Fall golf. Summer can be brutal and winter is a mixed bag. What do you do for a living? Technical Support Specialist How’d you pick your user name? I've used it off and off since 2005
  11. I'd be up there with Bryson then forsure... There were a couple of wild shots today on the PGA tour. Kinda looked like a few weekend hackers out there, hitting there second shots from another hole's tee box.
  12. Gotta watch those speedzone drivers really close. Apparently the heads fall off the shaft really easily. Bryson is must know this as he keeps extras in the car just in case........ just sayin'. 13. X2. One of the drills I do to try and place my clubs at "perfect" location. A reminder I need to do that again soon.... Sent from my SM-G960U using MyGolfSpy mobile app

  15. Agreed. I really like these tours for the price especially on BOGO. I can actually get them to spin backwards and roll back on the greens and can stick on the greens with some decent length iron shots. Sent from my SM-G960U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
